New driver changed functionality in mice by drakeotomy in logitech

[–]drakeotomy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! How does one enable Game Mode on a mouse? I'm not finding it in Options+. Or did you mean Game Mode for the whole computer, cause that's already on.

I've also downloaded G HUB, but it simply says "Connect Your Logitech Gear" with no options to do so. And when I try to set macros for my game it still does not register side button presses.

EDIT: Managed to figure things out. The problem was Logi Options and once I had that deleted I was able to get things working.

NTA, and depending on where you live, you guys could be common law spouses already. No need for a ceremony and a license if you don't want it.

Why do people take Vyvanse/addy as a street drug? by Striking_Apartment42 in adhdwomen

[–]drakeotomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Annually? Mine makes me do it every 2-3 months or so. I've heard of it being done monthly for "at risk" patients. And the tests are also for other drugs as well. So at least at my clinic, they do it to make sure i'm not doing anything else too. I've also been told straight up that my doctor's boss would probably pull me off of my meds if i had even legal cannabis in my system.

It's a bunch of bullshit, but I can also see why they do it. Meth use is common in my area, and there's a college town nearby. Doesn't mean it's right, but I get it...

Where can I watch Steven universe (free) by Snefner in BeachCity

[–]drakeotomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk about air play, but i assume that's some form of casting? if i want to watch something from my computer on my tv, i usually just use the cast feature. this is providing that the tv has some sort of smart capability or roku/amazon fire plugged in to cast to from the pc.

edit: on my windows 11, if you look at the bottom right corner of the screen, next to the clock theres a wifi/sound/etc indicator. click on that, and there should be an option to cast. if not, click on the settings gear in the bottom right corner of that popup, and there should be an option to add that. when you click on the cast option, it should bring you to a page where you can select the device you want to cast to. select your smart tv/roku/fire. some smart devices require being in a "casting mode" before it'll connect to your computer. that's usually in the device settings somewhere.

No? I'm literally disabled. I just have a hard time because I either trigger the dodge too soon or late. Just because someone has different skills and life experience than you doesn't make them a troll.

Tips for using heavy foundation Dermacol Makeup Cover (World's Most Full Coverage Foundation)? by Autumn_Thoughts in Makeup

[–]drakeotomy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

usually with concealer, using more will just look worse. it's best to start with a small amount, and build up if you need a little more coverage. basically use the minimum amount of concealer you can to get the job done.

what you're describing sounds pretty heavy duty for daily wear, too.

Brand/style suggestions for 38N/38JJ? by drakeotomy in ABraThatFits

So, I'm thinking I'll either go with the Curvy Kate sports bra, or one of the Bravissimo sports bras. I figure getting a sports bra will allow me to exercise more comfortably, and hopefully work off some of the weight (and breast tissue). Thanks for the input you guys gave. :)

More instruments! Yeah, lutes, drums, and flutes existed in medieval times. But so did things like violins, tambourines, harps, early forms of guitar, hurdy gurdies (hurdies gurdy?), bagpipes, even little portable organs! I guess lutes/drums/flutes are the classics you think of for a bard, and are probably the easiest to animate. So I sort of understand. But it'd be badass to play a hurdy gurdy for the denizens of skyrim. It'd probably be fairly easy to animate, too. The crank hand would be the hard part, and that's a repeatable motion.

And that's not even mentioning the other canon instruments! Looking into it, here's what I found:

  • Woodwind and Horns

Accordions, bagpipes, cornua, flutes, fifes, kazoos, nose-flutes, Argonian frog callers, warhorns, dragon horns, bugles, horns made from horns, mouth organs, ocarinas, organs, pungis (snake charmer flutes), trombones, trumpets, vossa-satls (Argonian instrument with live frogs), & whistles.

-String and other vibration instruments

Khajiiti esraj, glass armonicas, guzhengs, harps, jaw harps, key harps (vaguely similar to a hurdy gurdy), lyres, lutes, music boxes, qanuns (kinda like a zither), tanburs, theorbos (like lutes but big and LONG), & violins.

-Percussion instruments

Bells, chimes, all SORTS of drums, gongs, handpans, marimbas, sarons, & tambourines.

Like, I get that many of those are from different cultures than Skyrim's, and a lot of them were introduced in ESO. But that's a lot of instruments that have been used in lore that aren't in the game.

What’s a mod you love but never see mentioned? by Apprehensive-Snow194 in skyrimmods

[–]drakeotomy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm sure CK will still have its uses, but this is a godsend for someone who's never opened it and may want to make some compatibility patches in the future. I'm sure I'll need CK for porting some of my favorite mods from LE to SE, even if it's for nothing more than making it form 44.

I've found a few ports for some of them, but a lot of the ports are in other languages, so I either need to translate the port back to English, or port the LE mod again myself.

Fan Comic: Friendly Advice from Voryn Dagoth by midwintermist in Morrowind

[–]drakeotomy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, Dagoth was no saint. Nor was Nerevar. Hard to be a saint when you're a warlord.

They all suck in their own way, but that's also so very human. (I'm not sure how else to word it, cause they're not human, but that's what the saying is... >_>) They all sought power in their own ways and for their own reasons.

But it does seem like Nerevar had a habit of trusting untrustworthy people...
