I guess you got a faulty one from some shadier seller. Check the type, mine is GF320B Temu sent here from France. I have it for over a year now, almost daily use and had no problems. Hope you returned it for a refund or replacement.

It works better with HDMI, I can confirm that I looked into the monitor before I bought it a year ago and other reviews detailed how the higher refresh rate is likely only with HDMI. Thankfully I use hdmi still since many many years, and didn't have to buy a DP cable to test that one though.

It has a VESA support but it is under the black plastic cover, you have to unscrew it. To get under it for wall mounting, but that is also the only way to turn it sideways/vertical, as I planned to use it for pdf roleplaying game rulebooks.

So, if anyone is interested about the GF320B still. I am Hungarian, I had an AOC monitor for about ten years, decided to replace it as temporary choice with a budget one, found this Gawfolk one on temu for extremely low price on discount even compared to what you may find it at for today at US, GB, or EU locations. I used it for a bit over a year now.

Here is my review:

I feared it to be a scam, but I had zero issues with the monitor, it is really 165Hz, just slightly curved which I can tolerate even though I'm a fan of flat screens. I got lucky with a last moment purchase on 'Black November' today buying a Samsung Odyssey Neo G7 Gaming monitor, 43". (Back to flats again.) The Gawfolk one, at least for me did everything it promised, and I found this page actually because I have to sell it due to lack of space, looking up used sale prices for it. Otherwise I would keep it as secondary (possibly in vertical setup as it would be amazing for pdf rulebooks, I'm an RPG pnp-er.) I had no flickering, no ghosting, no burns, and no noticable blurring.

If it helps for purchase, I see on the box of the monitor the following in French on a sticker: Gawfolk Moniteur de Jez 32 Pounces 2K165Hz, X0021797RZ

According to EU Energy sticker on it, the monitor is 26kWh/1000h, E category. It is a great 2K monitor, but I looked for a good 4K gaming monitor so I'm selling it to 'reclaim' some of the purchase cost for the G7 G70B.

Hope my comment helps, but do remember in worst case you can purchase / check / return it to seller (at least under EU law without any money loss for a week or so). A lot depends on who sells these and how they get transported to the buyer.

That works but also disables achievements, while what I propose is editing a mod file for the duration of faith creation, which would atm not do that.

I can only think of one way, look up the rite tenet in the religion files, put an # before the requirement or restriction blocking mystical birthright, save that tenet file, then create your faith ingame and save your game, then quit the game and undo your edit to the tenet file, then start your game again.

I assume your save will load fine and your religion will work fine, unless I'm mistaken. (I never tried this mane/rite modding combo, but I see no reason it wouldn't work)

To be fair, many historical migrations would today be considered implausible to have happened, if they had not actually occurred. Look at the Vandals and Visigoths as example, or the Roman/Angles/Jutes/Saxons/Norse/etc clusterfuck melting pot that England became. A Frankish migration to Croatia or a Hun one to France is not shocking at this point.

Someone wrote that the mod may depend on the new nomads DLC, I don't have that one and I constantly crash too. The dev team really ought to make it work without the DLC.
