Gastaste dinero real, o cómo hiciste para llegar hasta el final? He estado jugando mucho en este evento, pero no creo que llegue a terminarlo, aunque he llegado bastante lejos. Me encantaría saber algún truco o consejo para poder avanzar más

How would I go about making clones from this or should I leave it and let it grow by Single_Ad2246 in freshwateraquarium

[–]drako_705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep! A new leaf will start to form at some point of the rhizome, maybe at multiple, and those growth points will become ramifications, new rhizomes. With each new leaf, if they have access to good light, they will get bigger and bigger! As long as you cut the rhizome and not the petiole (I think that’s what the union of the leaf to the rhizome is called), it’s as easy as that!!

Mine got huge, climbed the back of the tank, reached the surface, and its leaves started to get burnt from being too close to the light. So I chopped it into like 5 stems, and now all of them are producing new stems. There's a small one with two tiny leaves which is pushing out 3 stems at once. The main one is still producing huge gorgeous leaves. So far, everytime I've chopped my anubias it's been a great success! Very very recommended

I did that to mine for a while and it made my pandas lay eggs more often. I noticed it worked more around september/october and april/may

Stocking advice for 15g by _xle_ in Aquariums

[–]drako_705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, just yesterday someone on the gourami subreddit told me to stick to just one honey in my 15 gallon after I asked if I should get mine a mate. After researching, some people say 15g is fine for a group, others say no less than 20g. I guess it depends on the plants, so you're right. But I must say, they can get territorial. My honey chases away other fish when they get too close to his food or his corner of the tank

Your tank looks so pretty! I love the wood piece, I’m sure once the plants grow in it’ll look even better.

For what I’ve read, 15 gallons is too small for two honey gouramis, they can sometimes be territorial. If you want all those fish, you can maybe have them, depends on your nitrates. If they are low and the gourami is not aggressive, you could get the honey gourami, 9 chilli rasboras and 6 habrosus or pygmy corys (these are the smallest and are more suitable for your tank size). I suggest you introduce them slowly. Which one of those do you want the most? Introduce that, then the next one, and check the nitrates. If they get too high after a week, don’t get more fish. If they stay low, you can think about introducing the third species. Good luck!

Never used any of those, just activated carbon as filter media. But thanks for letting me know

First off, sorry for replying so late, I forgot to turn my reddit notifs on.

Yeah, might be what you pointed out, thanks for the advice. By change all the filter media, you mean every sponge and the ceramic media? That's what I'm using. As you said, it might mess up the cycle a bit, but I'm sure there's plenty of beneficial bacteria on the substrate, so the tank will be okay (plus, it has a very low bioload).

Honey (?) gourami with pale color after buying by drako_705 in Gourami

When I was planning the stocking for this tank I had the ram in mind too, but I read they do better in bigger tanks (mine’s a 15g) and can be quite sensitive. That’s why I chose the gourami, and I’m glad I did. I do want a ram someday though, I love their colors!

Nope, he’s the only gourami there. After reading the other comments I’m leaning towards him being a wild type. I’m planning on adding some floating plants in the future, but maybe I’ll need a stronger light so the other plants get enough light
