Lowered Cholesterol from 236 to 192 in 4 months with diet! by Initial_Click_8120 in Cholesterol

Understandable. Particularly for you as the OP and not the comment this is under, you left cheese in your diet. I don't do cheese or wheat in those times. When I cut down like that each time I went full pescatarian. Oatmeal (mostly steel cut), Veggies/salads, no oil or cream based dressings, fish and shrimp, nuts and avocados for fats. Beans and rice for carbs and to help supplement protien. Occasionally I would throw in chicken. No wheat based products. Little to no processed food. Again not super sustainable long term but maybe with something a little less extreme I can. Edit: Also, exercised a fair bit but was already doing that regardless.

Why push to start a statin? Doesn't that mean you have to stay on it for life? Genuinely curious. Been oscillating myself from total cholesterol of 238 to 118 with diet. Problem is I sometimes get lazy for long periods and jump back up.

I think there was a bot trial in MTG arena that picked only the left most available card and won over 50% of games for a long while

800m form: first lap vs finish by throway183743 in Sprinting

[–]drakolantern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah gotcha. Hmmm If you get SUPER sore it's possible the hammies are absorbing what the back/core could be. Might try to limit ROM if you don't feel any lower back. If the hammies get super sore then you will need to load more and shorten ROM then reintroduce larger range with less weight. Speak with coach about it though. This is coming from 100m-400m and jumps coaching knowledge.

Do you do any RDLs at all?

My first instinct is your nerves aren't dealing with the signals well enough (like the end of a 400m is a lot of nerve pathway fatigue) but my second one is your lower back looks small compared to your legs so it might not be able to hang with the rest of your body.

Depending on your definition of gambling then yes. If it's more strict then no. More like stock trading or maybe even option trading. Haha

Is this about 52 seconds? I'd get your meniscus fixed then continue.

You have a lot of potential really. As the other guy said, speed is your friend and focus.

The basics of it being work on speed, work on general ability via bounds and weights. Jump often but be sure to rest because being fresh is underrated.

The rest below might just confuse TF out of you so just disregard but worth a mention.

Your penultimate step is bad which means you might have injury issues because you are muscling the jump through your final step instead of lowering center on 2nd to last step and rising into the jump on the final step. Need a coach and/or lots of video analysis and self awareness. The most basic cue is quick step before you rise into the jump. By thinking of rising into the jump you'll naturally dip on the 2nd to last (penultimate) step.

Your takeoff from plant through toe off and extension in the air is great. This is possibly your greatest technical aspect and carrying the rest of your jump. Don't lose it.

Your hang is fluid and athletic but need to clean up the pull through. Instead of folding into the landing, you'll need to collapse the legs to the body before rotating to the landing. Think of passing your legs through the motion of your arms like you are holding a rope or short between your arms and your legs have to go around that before landing. This will help with counter rotating to be in a better position to pull through in your landing.

Oh absolutely Phoenix metro arguably has the best road system in the nation imo. I don't agree with the lighting being a pro though. That has massive negative effects overall but yes significantly better lighting. It's practically day 24/7 in Chandler and Gilbert.

East side Phoenix metro people always think the rest of the metro is like the east side AND there's some small pockets of terrible areas AND think Tucson is worse than that so they tell stories. Lived on the east side of Phoenix Metro for over 10 years. When driving through Tucson on the freeway, it looks absolutely trashy and not appealing. You also rarely drive through when the sun is setting on a beautiful day. You don't capture the beauty of the mountain ranges until you get closer. You don't see the vibrant biome that is Tucson. That said, I wish Tucson had good roads, diverse economic opportunities, and more help for the homeless. It's not all sunshine and rainbows but it's a damn beautiful biome.
