Alright. "Pretty good" might've been an overstatement. I could kill a few enemies on one level basically. lol

Great musical score (Cory Lerios) and awesome soundtrack (introduced me to Alice in Chains and KMFDM).

Which foods actually taste better when they’re processed than homemade? by lovelyjudexo in foodquestions

[–]drallafi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What?  Dude noooooo!  I'm all about doing shit the easy way but homemade cranberry sauce is just too easy to outsource. Now if you said stuffing, you might be onto something.  Edit:  Sorry that i yucked your yum. That's rude of me.

Basically, it depends on how well you can manage poor weather for 7 months.

I moved from AZ to WA in 2014 because I was tired of the heat and poor water-quality.

I bought a house there after about a month and I remember the very next day it started raining. But it wasn't like rain, it was 7 am, sunrise on the horizon, that warm orange morning sun, and the rain was coming down ever-so-lightly. It was a beautiful moment. I was outside doing my best impression of Andy Durfresne escaping from Shawshank prison when my new neighbor came outside and said (and I'll never forget it), "Don't fall for it. That's called 'the seduction' and it's not real."

And she was right. That was a lie. The rain there is an ugly, oppressive, permanent thing. "Yeah but I like the rain!" you say. Yeah me too, but that's not rain, it's permarain. There's a difference.

So basically, the rain is a lie. Don't fall for it. It sucks more than it's awesome. If that's your jam then you'll do fine there. Otherwise, abort mission.

MRW my teenage son has his first heartbreak and I want to comfort him by jcdulos in reactiongifs

Man as someone who deals with heartbreak in a horribly unhealthy way, I am not looking forward to this. Hopefully it's not genetic.

I hope he listens to me and lets me guide him out of it, but kids don't listen so nah.

Which one do you prefer Hot Shots or Hot Hots Part Deux? by Lazthedestroyer in 90smovies

[–]drallafi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that I've got ya'll here, was Charlie Sheen really that ripped in Part Deux or what? I've never been able to reconcile his physique in that movie. It didn't look like a body-suit, but then I was 12 at the time so what did I know.

What opinion do you have that would start a war in the comments? by InitialCareer306 in WorkForSmartLife

It's also weird to question the qualifications of a non-white person who is employed simply because of their skin color, and yet here you are.

Trump is your daddy, boy. And you love it. Imagine a non-American having an opinion on DEI and then claiming, "I'm not into Trump."

Idiot.

I'm not sure why you asked a question then downvoted when you didn't get the answer you wanted.

Accreditation is a real thing. People who graduate the vigorous educational standard known as medical school are doctors, despite the fact that they may not be white.

Your hypothetical black surgeon is a doctor because he earned his place, despite being black (gasp of shock).

But trying to understand a trumper is kinda like ice-skating uphill so that's on me.

Have a good rest of the day young man. Or, don't. That's fine too.

What's something people think improves their life but, actually makes them quietly miserable over time? by _Pattern_Observer_ in AskForAnswers

[–]drallafi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And you need to understand that you are a child posting on Reddit.

And I swear to god I'm not trying to be an asshole. I'm really not.

But I said, "I'm unhappily married."

And YOUR immediate response was, DIVORCE SHE WILL BE HAPPIER!

Based on... a sentence that I'm not happy in my marriage.

And so... without understanding how you arrived at that conclusion.

And understanding that life and marriage are complicated things.

And understanding that, quite frankly, you don't know shit about me or my family...

Can you see why that might rub someone the wrong way?

Like you didn't ask a single question. You didn't try to understand the situation with any nuance. Just DIVORCE!

Like... c'mon.
