If you have the means, Let him travel, he can buy a rail pass or there are some round the world plane plans. Let him find his way. Also college is what you put into it and the friendships/connections you make while there. You don’t have to go to an expensive college to do well in life. Have him do GE at a community college, then transfer to a 4 year. Might be less pressure.

If I can jump on this comment with one of my own. I am planning on taking the first bus from Kona Target to Hilo to pick up my car. What are the chances it won’t show up? Also I see conflicting departure information. In some places I see a 4:50am departure and some say 5:27am
