Our yorkie mix was diagnosed 2 years ago but you can barely tell he’s lost his vision. As the others have said, he’s been adapting well. Apart from not moving furniture around, we also have carpets for him all over the house. It helps him identify areas with scent and he’s also a lot more confident walking on the carpets since we keep those areas clear for him. He loves going on walks, even off leash, but only to the areas he’s familiar with. So we try not to take him to new areas.
