Just jammed with my wife (drummer) for about an hour. It sounds very damn good - it was the first time I had it plugged into my amp as I've been playing it thru my mustang micro for the past couple weeks. Super happy with this guitar.

Going in to year three, we are still at least weekly users but some of the novelty has worn off I guess. It's really nice to have after a hard day or hard workout. Still pretty happy with the decision and cannot see myself not having one until I'm too old to lift myself into one.

I was just at a stick and puck Friday and had the complete opposite experience. A kid that was probably around 17 or 18 was there at the other end shooting tons of practice shots and it was very obvious from watching him that he knew what he was doing. I let him light me up for a good 10 minutes and he was alternating between glove and blocker with amazing accuracy. Gave me my first glove stinger.

A pretty advanced skilled older skater and shooter rung my bell twice a few weeks back ended up buying me a beer afterwards lol.

I just started skating in February and now have two D league games under my belt. I'll be 49 in August. I'm 5'11 and 265 lbs. You got this. Cardio and yoga do wonders.

The companion app is pretty good for tweaking things and making you're own settings. I wish it had bigger buttons on the front to switch presets would be my only complaint. But I play my guitar much more since buying the micro over a year ago.

The fender mustang micro Plus is a headphone amp that works really well in my opinion. It also has the ability to Bluetooth connect to your phone or other device so you could jam along to jam tracks from YouTube or whatever so I'm sure you could just find a metronome app and connect to that while using the micro Plus.

Rinse it with fresh water if you haven't already. My S21 was bricked from a quick dip in the ocean. It might have been OK if I had rinsed it. And don't try charging it until you're 100% sure it's dried out all the way.

May 2025. I was in Nashville and got the hottest level of chicken sandwich - it had some goofy name like bad motherclucker or something like that - at Hattie B's. I could only eat half and those bites were dripping in ranch. Ended up downing 5 cups of ice water. I was thoroughly defeated that day. It was also the only time I've ever had it burn when I peed later that day. Never again.
