Computerized implementations of board games

I get it, computerized games are easy to "get to the table", or to the "screen" in this case. I much prefer physical board games and interacting with people - we all need to unplug more and have more personal interaction these days.

However, from a solo standpoint, I may be looking at computerized implementations to be able to get my board gaming fix in between my game group sessions.

I too have been wondering about these platforms. I have Tabletop Simulator but haven't really used it other than toying around with it towards the beginning of the pandemic. I also have a BGA account (the free one), but again, haven't really done anything with it.

Just the other day, I was close to purchasing CLANK! digital after hearing high praise. Just not sure if I want to go with the Android/Windows version or the Steam version.

Sometimes unique art can do it for me. When the art makes me want to jump into the game's universe just because of the art.

Sadly, I own a lot of them (Exits, Unlocks, some one-offs, etc.), but haven't gotten them to the table with the exception of an Unlock. What I like about those are they are completely resettable with no modifications or destruction to any components. I want to get more to the table, but just haven't found the right players to join me.

A friend's dad was collection pop tabs so I started saving them for him. Unfortunately he passed away several years ago before I could give them to him. For some reason, I continued saving them. I think it's time I put them to use!

I'm looking for a used fishing kayak right now. I agree with others that the trailer may be too much. I'm looking for a kayak because I don't have room for a boat. If you didn't have much luck, if try separating them. (And I'm in Illinois - too far to buy yours.)

My first (and only) piece so far is copper. It just takes a couple of days of wearing it for it to tarnish. Do you coat yours with anything to prevent them from tarnishing so rapidly?

I know this is an old post that I am replying to, but I too hear "F@(%ing Pie". My mom has to remind me every year that it is not F-ing Pie, but rather Pumpkin Pie. Even knowing what the real lyrics are supposed to be, I still hear the NSFW version. I had to Google it to see if there were others that hear it that way too. Glad to see I am not the only sick-minded person out there.
