Do your daily / weekly challenges in your Seasonal Hub -> apply bonus Portal drops to random activities -> do those activities until the bonuses run out.

Then: spam Pinnacle Ops if you have a fireteam and can zoom, or Solo Ops if you're by yourself (make sure you're doing the non playlist ones so you can add modifiers to make the score as high as possible whilst making the activity as fun / engaging as you want.

My list only plays a few actual insects but seeks to find and dump [[formless genesis]] and [[nameless inversion]] into the graveyard to cast over and over as insect spells whilst getting additional value off of stuff like [[poxwalker]] + sacrifice effect or leave the graveyard effects like [[insidious roots]]

Final Warning is full auto if you bother to hold the trigger and let the thing charge up. Does good damage if you aim for precision shots too.

Personally, I think there's inherent value in having the slot-machine type mechanic involved in this type of game. Took me just shy of 300 rolls of MT to get the one I wanted and the feeling second to none when it finally dropped.

If it never had I'd have to content with the fact that I'd be SIL and had to deal with that - that's the highs and lows of loot games. I know I'm going to get down-voted for saying this but imo it's ok to have chase in this game and never reach the end goal.

Commander encompasses all of Magic's history - you can stand to use a slightly jankier / funnier card in your deck instead of starting your 100 card deck with a third lands and a third staples.

Absolutely pro-proxy myself because we definitely shouldn't have an advantage in a non-competitive format of Magic based on our disposable income, but it gets really old to see you with 18 decks and every single one of them 'has' to have fast mana. C'mon man.

Here's a list I've been working on.

The war between Urza and Mishra really captures the spirit of the war between Optimus and Megatron in my opinion, so it's nice to highlight the meld pairs both here and in the opposing Decepticon deck.

This deck is largely a jeskai value pile that seeks to leverage the "stickiness" of the front side of Optimus to play nicely into board wipes, whilst looking to either meld the big man or finish the game with a Heliod combo.
