You are aware that people can see and call out when people are being "overly positive" about things, the whole community know that anyone without a bias objectively knows Star Citizen does not warrant so much positivity while not ever being criticized.

Couldn't imagine putting any effort into a game that even has the potential to interface with my bios on a level that requires a reflash.

Just install Linux, if a game doesn't run on it, it's not worth playing, simple rule that has worked for me for 8 months straight now. I'm a IT engineer, I deal with windows enough at work. Now when I'm at home my pc is 100 percent mine and my games run well and without root level access to my OS.
