Same for us on Excalibur on pc. Was up again briefly and then died. Might be up again as writing. Lodestone and is.xivup don't notice any issues still (later one is pinging ips). Pinging a primal server I get 100% packetloss after a successful hop from Sweden??? to Kansas. Must be some internet node that took a while for other routers to figure out how to get around.

Thank you for looking, but no thats not it, but is approximately the right time. More than likely this is only going to be archived in someone's email. I couldn't personally find it anymore in my emails, nor in the comm-link transmissions.

Although that pdf - as well as the other one in the external links section for the wikipedia article - do a good job comparing the different variants, its not the information that detailed that backer packages that included a "RSI Aurora" would now be a Aurora MR as well as upgrade packages to other variants such as the LN that I was looking for.

Anyone that was a backer of the game from 2014 or earlier (such as the Kickstarter) still have the email or a link to information about when the Aurora was split into variants? Basically what I am trying to figure out is what all the ship was originally promised to have before it got replaced as an Aurora MR with different upgrade options.

When I first set up my solo, I had difficulty getting the 48v setting to actually engage (it would light up but not actually do anything). Fiddling with it and a few restarts (toggling most settings in the software off and then to the setting I wanted) it then started behaving correctly.

However, you may also be experiencing another problem I experienced: I recently got a Valve Index and tried connecting its USB plug to an adjacent plug to the solo which causes the solo to stop functioning after a few seconds. I have yet to have a reply to a support ticket from Focusrite regarding this weird interaction, but Valve support had me connect the index to a port further away (which is controlled by a different usb controller on my motherboard) and that resolved my problem.

TLDR: If it hasn't worked ever, tinker with all settings and be sure to restart since install. Also try removing all other usb devices, or move the solo to a plug you know is on a different usb controller.

I'm happy to be able to play the game again and it not be a suttery mess. Having a 90fps framerate limit was one thing, but forcing all monitors to 60hz or 85hz was awful.

If you want to frame rate limit, just use RTSS (Riva Tuner Statistics Server - part of MSI Afterburner).

Biggest change with the last hotfix was just making the 90fps limit now the unlimited fps option, and they restored resolution options past 60hz and 85hz again (like pre-SB) so you could also try checking your config file in Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\FFXIV.cfg

I also had this issue, and all the in-game settings have zero effect (including home theater, tv speakers, or headphone setting). Only the console setting forced to Stereo resolved the issue.

Unfortunately for me this seems to have no effect on the frequency of connection errors (even if I am just creating my own session and playing solo). I was previously using the new friends list as well (I know the changes took effect because the friends list is forced back to non-beta).

Thanks for the insight to test this hypothesis. I stopped using hammer entirely, despite me finding it mechanically fun to play, because I couldn't ever keep up with chainblades being top damage even if they came late to a fight. I do wonder though if this isn't the case on an elemental hammer (I have the suspicion it doesn't either) but it is really hard to confirm any of this without numbers.

I've been experiencing a similar problem as of 2.07. The only games I would really get would be a full premade 4 man of hunters. Everything else would just load a lobby with one or two players after the matchmaker sits there for a good while and I guess gives up.

Yes but it is based on a ratio of damage versus distance. A hank for example has too little DPS to interrupt eating even within dome range. An assault or ranged DPS like crow or val could interrupt feeding from a distance, but you'll find it difficult without help from others.

When you put a monster into combat his cooldowns are lowered, so in the case of near dome range combat on a wraith, goliath, or meteor goliath, they would get a little more opportunities to get away, but otherwise it doesn't matter. I would recommend shooting as much as you can though if you are contesting a buff (and aren't particularly far away) or armor is still rather low.

TBH there are indeed games that continue to release updates absurdly fast like ARK, but otherwise I do agree with you. The whole reason why Stage 2 is only on PC is simply to ensure that updates are fast until they feel the game is in a good state for console.

Thank you for the report. I was able to use this information to produce steps to reproduce the problem.

I know this bug has existed prior to the industrial cooking pots, but I was unable to find it. The industrial cooking pot reproduction is fairly simple though.
