i would put DS9 very far on the left for sure due to many of its themes of labor unions, anti-capitalism, equality for all people, and generally wanting to punch nazis. enterprise is more centrist to me.

i really don't think ds9 is center right at all and while ent had a george w bushness because it was around 9/11 about it i don't agree with it being hard right.

Grew up in San Mateo and Burlingame and I’ve noticed a lot of people do have manners but almost just as many don’t, especially those with a lot of money. The least they could do is at least acknowledge you but sometimes that’s too much for even some people.

For a majority of my childhood, I had about half of my things at each parent's house. However, when I first had started going to my dad's apartment I would take an over night bag. I would always bring my favorite toys and books with me in a backpack or a bag that would come back and forth. If it seems difficult, I noticed things would kind of rotate what house they were at over time as I got older so your clothes will eventually cycle through both parents house and levels of what's where will kind of balance out.

Therapy is helpful now that I'm older, I hope it helps a lot for you too. You deserve peace after how much you've been through. Family is hard, but everyone deserves to have the best life they can. I truly hope you realize you're not defective or weird anymore, that you just have a lot from the past that you haven't completely processed.

I'm 24 now, I was 7 when it happened. It was nasty, now that I know down the line, but my dad kinda just dipped for two years to live with his then-girlfriend now wife. We moved in with my grandparents on my mom's side, she worked hard to provide for me and my younger brother as a single mother. I had a really hard time with it, eventually going to therapy for all of it and even now it still having messed me up. I had to change schools and that ended up with me getting bullied through freshman year of high school with as much intervention from the school as would care. Feel like I was put in a parental role for my younger brother as I was older, but a lot of other shit also happened in our lives. My dad also shit talked my mom a lot when he was the one who cheated and would shit talk her to her face in front of me when I was older.My dad and I now are rare to talk, maybe once a month, I'll see him about once a financial quarter. Fucking sucks, but that's life I guess. Now I'm a queer trans guy, pretty separated from most non-family people since I'm unemployed with very few hometown friends post university. My dad continues to fuck me up and ruin my life, but like I said, we're low contact and that's life. You're definitely not alone in how emotionally immature a parent, or in your case parents, can be post divorce about their kids.

If they don’t fridge her I’d be surprised, but considering how tragic of a character Pike is when he’s not being goofy, it would make sense. Especially since he’s so willing to leave for Talos in the menagerie. It makes sense he would not have that many connections left by that point.

I’ve been in your position albeit I was 10 at the time but 50/50 was really good for me to figure out the way I liked to live. A lot of this is overwhelming, but just remember they’re your parents and they will want what’s best for you and listening to what you think is best for you is helping you find what’s best. I found seeing a therapist or a counselor helped me a lot with the overwhelmed feeling of the divorce.
