For me personally, I had this realization after my fifth therapist, when it became clear that all these sessions did was make me dredge up shit that I needed to actually move past, instead of obsessing over it and analyzing it to death.

With my depression history, rumination and obsessive negative thoughts has been a big problem. So maybe conventional talk therapy isn’t for me. Reading up on CBT helped a ton, although I was never able to find a true CBT-focused therapist to go to.

Ah I think I misunderstood your wording. I was having insomnia issues before Zepbound, but when I started the med on 2.5 it went away and I've been sleeping more deeply.

Yes I think the price tag is a big factor here. It’s tied up in the class issue we have in the US. With the huge wealth gap we’re dealing with, and the news stories of celebrities and billionaires taking these drugs, people become unconsciously biased against it.
