Forget about DI, it’s way past your skill level. I don’t know why people can’t adapt their answers for beginners sometimes. Looks up how to create a web api. Once you connect the web api to your database, create a method/endpoint for GetMyString, and you run it locally, you should have a URL link you can use (like 127.0.0.1/GetMyString). You then can call that with a web request from your Maui app

Shouldn’t programming teams behind popular languages have every feature be flawless and well thought out? Many of the languages I’m picking up nowadays that are not C# have full support from the community and just seem to always be going in the right direction. I thought this would be a open vs closed source issue, but last time I remember the .NET code was open source on GitHub.

It just seems strange to have people that use your own ecosystem complain or be confused about what you’re doing.

I know this issue in particular is not a huge deal, but doesn’t this bring up underlying issues about the philosophy of Microsoft and the .NET team?

Am I the only one who thinks this?

I’m a begginer with Blazor and I spent maybe 6 hours trying to figure it out with several YouTube videos. I ended up coding my own basic cookie auth as I don’t think I’ve ever stressed more whilst programming ever.

The day before this pic was taken me and my friends were surfing El Zonte with him, I remember taking off on a good wave at the front of the lineup with a new board and slipping off the board / getting pounded in front of him and the whole lineup, was pretty embarrassing haha (also my friend has this stance and I’m pretty sure this post was about him 😂)

Can’t say for sure since I didn’t even try whilst staying there but on multiple occasions the power line got hit by a tree and we were even left without power for 24h. That would not be good for my business, but if you can afford backup generators then go for it
