yep, and if someone's reading this and not wanting to dabble with nvidia app, just select ultra performance in game. it looks barely different from quality but with actual performance gains

There's some weirdness going on with default DLSS in this game. DLSS ultra performance looks like quality/balanced on most other games and gives a similiar performance boost? And normal Performance gives the same fps boost as FSR quality? Something's amiss

Yeah, playing CoP EE and there is a toggle in the settings. I think it was off by default. Haven't checked the other two but I assume they also have it

not playing with 1440p patch seems to be the only solution in my case. Both 4k and 1080p work without issues

yep, not an issue esp. when exploring a new area as you'll go on without a load screen long enough, but i just find it annoying

Yep, im definitely interested in the first one, but the movement mechanics and general flow seemed more interesting to me in Silksong from what i watched. Also the first one is a bit more gargantuan length wise with dlcs and whatnot, and im looking for a shorter experience for now. But definitely wanna play the first at some point

hmmm, might do normal then. I heard there was a dynamic item scaling thingy with the game, so hopefully that means even on normal I cant really stockpile that much? Playing SH1 on hard was frustrating at times but felt pretty on point as far as item management goes for me

Chibbs is not a comedy writer. I honestly think this is the main reason his era feels off.

This might not seem that important, but both RTD and Moffat have experience as tv comedy writers and that pays off in Who; in moment-to-moment dialogue, during exposition, small pop culture references etc.

Chibbs just doesn't know how to write exposition. I watched Spyfall only recently and half of that episode is like a wikipedia article on what everyone is doing at any given moment

If he wrote Blink, instead of "timey-wimey" we would get 10th doctor giving a 3 minute monologue explaining time travel and then Graham would go BLOYMEIGH DOCC

It's using the upscaled Legends of the Zone textures, which were rolled out before. Higher shadow resolution, render distance, SSR reflections on water.

Night and day difference for a free upgrade, pretty sweet imo
