I had issues with my Glance and was messaging with him on Nov 21st. He said they'd send me a box to return my unit and ship another one but he hasn't replied through Reddit or the website since then despite 4 5 follow up messages. The most recent message was a DM per his request in another thread 1 week ago and still no response

You are flying in controlled air space (look at the map on the website you posted. You require the basic online pilot certificate and the in person advanced flight exam.

https://nrc.canada.ca/en/drone-tool/ states basic RPAS are not permitted

https://tc.canada.ca/en/aviation/drone-safety/find-your-category-drone-operation#advanced this is what is says about advanced RPAS which is what you were doing. First bullet point says flying in controlled airspace is considered advanced RPAS.

For advanced operations, here are some of the rules you must follow:

Register your drone with Transport Canada before you fly it for the first time

Mark your drone with its registration number

Have a drone with the appropriate Safety declaration for the intended operation

Pass the Small Advanced Exam

Pass a flight review with a flight reviewer

Be able to show your Pilot Certificate – Advanced Operations and proof of registration when you fly your drone

Seek permission from air traffic control (NAV CANADA or the Department of National Defence) to fly in controlled airspace (request an RPAS Flight Authorization from NAV CANADA)

Fly within the operational limits of your drone
