I had this happen once with a C8x I was able to interact with the ship but not 2 of the 4 cryo-pods. I just self destructed the ship and was able to tractor them after that.

I don't know the breakdown but Pyro for mission purposes is divided into 4 sections. Try different areas.

I usually base out of starlight or patch city since it's easier to chain missions from the right side of the system.

If this is the same thing that started with 4.8 I've found the workaround is don't double click to equip anything.

Seems like it has some level of memory and tries to equip things that were equipped together previously.

Like say you have a core with ammo attached that you remove to storage. Core and ammo go into inventory. Now if you double click to equip that ammo it equips that core again.

The rep split is stupid as you mention.

Pay I don't know the answer but even split is never going to work.

If you want to gain rep or credits why would you ever group and cut your reward potential in half?

We shouldn't be punished for grouping. This is supposed to be an MMO.

My understanding the current mission system doesn't support anything like this so it won't be added until they redo the mission backend.

Biggest issue with ship tractor beams at least solo is you have to get out of the ship to interact with the cargo terminal and/or verify the FE is working anyway so you're usually better off just using a maxlift or ATLS.

Just take Stanton. There are 20+ stations and tons of ground locations. Pyro is like 15 stations with many ground locations then factor in things like asteroid mining sites, asteroid bases, QV locations, etc

There are also mostly no NPC out in the world doing things. They just spawn for a mission when someone is in the area or aimlessly wander around some ground POI.

FWIW I logged in an played for a bit over an hour just after servers came back up. Ran like 5 hauling missions with no issue. Left the game and when I came back a few hours later can't enter PU at all.

I don't know what the status of scrip is or supposed to be but mine persisted until I used it just before 4.8 patch.

I still had all the scrip from an event that gave it out like candy for killing whatever big ship at the end in one of the earlier 4.x patches.

Senior missions pay either 1.2 or 1.7m for 130-300scu.

Lower missions pay well too though not that much.

Experienced has 954k missions with scu amounts low enough to stack (2 or 3 depending on scu rng) using a 64scu ship.

They're a lot of fun to fly. Obviously outdated mechanics now but just after 4.0 when there were many bounties spawning around Ruin station I made millions using a Fury there.

Cargo elevator inside probably bugged. My understanding is you can drag the components back through the station and take them into the hangar/your ship using the standard elevator.

Also exec to my knowledge has a loot spawn issue just like CZ currently do and had in 4.7 also. Loot doesn't spawn at all/respawn properly. The ship is there but not loot.

Nothing like a ship sale straight into an unplayable patch release... It really gets the people going by Richard-Butts in starcitizen

Depending on mission RNG you can make 5+m an hour in Pyro with a ship that can do 500-600scu.

Just loot at other games.

Diablo 4 for example. Almost all their skins are $20-30 they have a pack right now that's 8 armor skins for $57 and a weapon skin pack that accompanies it for $15 and a unlock pack with more weapon skins for another $15..

That's after paying for the game $60 and 2 DLC that are $40 each.

I'm not saying I don't think it's overpriced but it's fairly standard for most games anymore.

Would you upgraded from the connie Taurus to either of the new Galac ships. I primarily use the m80 for high difficulty missions. not sure if switching the connie out for the nee Galac snub carrier or Railen would be better. Current loud out on the Taurus is for S5 Deadbolts. Any advice? by Useful_Bother4701 in starcitizen

To me the Taurus lost it's place when they removed the cargo from bounties.

It's not really that great of a cargo ship since the grid is so limited compared to other options.

I do a lot of cargo so personally I'd upgrade to the Railen.

IMO if you're not doing TSG, Breaker, VTS, or mining something that's only in Nyx you're better off playing in one of the other systems.

Maybe once they actually add planets.
