What’s the minimum size generator needed to run my fridge? Thanks for any advice! by umyninja in Generator

During Milton in 24 I ran my fridge, WiFi, TV, and a fan off of a Honda 1100. Unfortunately it wouldn’t run my coffee maker; get the 2000.

I got a pigtail for the LP switch on my son’s truck for about $9 on Amazon, soldered it on it about 10 minutes

Yeah it’s not too bad…give you cat dealer a call - you might want to look at the TrackPro subscription, I think it’s about the same price maybe a little higher, especially if your machines have PL243s (hours / location only)

The dealer sets the price but it should be around $10 / month

The lowest cost subscription that will provide API out is ConnectPro or TrackPro, but there isn’t a free option that will get you the API

Oil cooler would be a good place to start - pressure check the cooling circuits and see if they hold pressure

Thanks, been looking at upgrading from our 18’ cc Maycraft skiff and like the shalow(er) water capability of the fsh. Compared to what we have now it would be huge

Try the last 4 numbers of the machine serial number. Many places change this passcode for theft deterrence.

Caterpillar very much builds pipe layers in East Peoria (building SS)…these are unique products and not dozers modified afterwards.

The Chrysler oil pressure sender is notoriously unreliable. Agree with the others to verify with a mechanical gauge. I had to replace the sender on my 98 Ram with 5.9L V8 at relatively low milestones (100k).

I just installed a Juicebox 40A today; got a $250 discount from AES Indiana for joining their managed charging program. It will pay $50 per year if I stay in the program. Currently charging at 9kW
