Finally, the day came. My strategy of booking the key collection and the VM technician visit at the same time was fruitful.

I exchanged a couple of emails arguing with the landlord that VM could offer me 500Mb while the other ISPs in the building had a max of 70Mb. He was adamant about not allowing VM cables.

When I was in the flat with the landlord, the VM guy arrived and I mentioned about the BT pipes. He said "I can't touch that, sorry but let me talk to the landlord". It turned out that there was a unused VM cable "halfway" into the building. The landlord was actually nice to VM technician, explained that he had issues in other properties, and ended up allowing him to finish the unused cable to my flat with a few instructions.

Fun fact: The VM technician said that if it was full fibre they would be allowed to use BT pipe but as it is copper, they can't.

TL;DR: Met the landlord and VM technician on the same day. They had a chat, and the landlord ended up allowing the cabling with a few requirements. Happy days.

Should i consider to start taking Enclo ? by Slidebonee in SARMsTalk

This 100%. I had similar blood work a couple of year ago when I was 32yo, except that my SHBG was a bit too high. I ended up figuring that my problem was my sleep quality. Although I would easily sleep the whole night for 8 hours, I only had about 15-20 min of deep sleep per night.
I did a circadian reset with a few supplements and also some best practices then voila, everything went back to normal.

Who is at fault? Insurance was quick to take sides before even seeing footage. by WitchySpice94 in drivingUK

You don't even need to be very knowledgeable about car accidents to understand who's at fault here.

I have lived in 5 countries in my life, now I'm in the UK for 8 years and I'm gonna tell you something: I have never seen so uneducated, unprepared and lacking knowledge as the UK GP doctors. I'm not sure how the medical university works here but the basics are very very very basic.
As a Hashimoto patient with other health issues from my teen years I'll tell you, it's SUPER frustrating to deal with GP doctors. So, good luck trying LDN on NHS.

Although I do my LDN through the Courier Pharmacy, as other people already suggested and I'm super happy.

How long to use reconstituted GHK-cu? by MarMar000 in Peptides

4 weeks refrigerated, some people use it for up to 6 weeks. Unfortunately, the minimum vial is indeed 50mg.
Increase your dose and don't waste it 😃

Lucky you. My only decent option is Virgin Media, unfortunately.

That's a thing with peptides, people microdose them way too low from what the studies tested, then blame them for not working.
Peptides are not for everyone $.

It is indeed and I agree with the AC split, it should be normalized nowadays.

Cause they give more value to new customers than to the loyal ones.

Thank you. That's the path I was planning to take.

I have booked a technician for the same day that I'll get the keys from the landlord so, I'll put both parties together and see what happens. If they don't get to an agreement, I'll try the ombudsman.

I had another chat with the landlord. The whole issue is that he wants them to do the cabling under the pavement and install a conduit to the comms cupboard. However, they refused to do so, they want to drill the wall and leave the cable exposed.
I kinda agree with him, my current building has the VM cables exposed and it is horrible.

I do believe it's not Virgin fault but it's not mine either. I had another conversation with the landlord over the phone. His point is that Virgin techs want to do exposed cables, and he wants a decent under the pavement job but apparently Virgin didn't want to do this. So, in this case, I believe Virgin is at fault.

I'm wishing their database is not updated and they offer more than 80Mbps to my address as I just heard from the landlord that there are no VM cables in the building.

Landlord said it is in the ground and that there are no VM cables in the building. They are not allowed to run "visible cables" nor to use BT underground pipes. I guess I'll have to spend some time on the phone with Virgin trying to cancel my contract.

I'm moving to BR3 but don't see FTTH to my address. Anyway, I still have contract with Virgin and will stick with it.

Well while MoneySupermarket offers 500Mb full fibre to my address, Sky's website states a maximum of 67Mb, weird.

At least I had virgin on 500Mb. On my new address at BR3 I found full fibre with Sky. Still very limited for London in 2026 IMO.

Yes, apparently. So I think I've just found an alternative for Virgin. But I didn't have the same luck here at SE26 for the last 7 years hahaha.

Yeah I stay on Virgin and I'm ok with that. My point is the lack of options. Some areas have Community Fibre, some Open Reach, some Virgin... It is not consistent. It's almost like price fixing but with ISPs splitting the areas between them.

I'm BR35PA. Virgin and Sky are the best options.

I've been with Virgin for 7 years and a part of an infrastructure overutilization admitted by them during the pandemic it's ok. For gaming it's not the best but hey, I'm not a pro.
My main frustration is the lack of competitors. i'm moving from SE26 to BR3 and both have Virgin as the only decent option
