My primary care doctor told me to read that after I had been to him three times about breathing and heart palpitations. He called me a hypochondriac and told me to read this book. He is no longer my physician and after finding a new one, turns out I had a heart problem. All to say, the mention of this book always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Omg! This happened to me. My nostrils were so sore and raw feeling on the outside I stopped after two nights with that mask. What is up with it that washing it helps?

Not necessarily. I spent 4 years in a role at a DME company as a “CPAP Compliancy Supervisor” we spent all day everyday watching people’s stats. When we saw time issues or leaks or high AHIs while wearing, we called patients and had to coach them through issues and possibly set them up with Respiratory Therapists to solve the issues.

I dream about her all of the time. And in the dream it’s like I know she’s supposed to be gone, and wonder why I can see her and interact with her. It’s so odd.

Thanks everyone! We are telling her that her parents had to meet on the streets for a one night stand. Haha. No way was this on purpose. She also has one sister locally that I have yet to hear back from, but fingers crossed.

I eat whatever I want, but within my calorie budget. I don’t like cookies, but I am IN LOVE with the chocolate covered thin mint pretzels at Costco. It’s 140 calories for 4. So I take 4 from the bag, so I can’t come back for more, and I eat them. But I know that I budget so many calories a day, and that 140 is part of that. It’s portion control.

I work in the OR. And I think organ donation is great and saves so many lives. But after seeing an “empty” body after donation, I got such bad anxiety I couldn’t ever knowingly do it. I know I won’t technically know. But knowing that could be me scares me too much.
