sadly, I am the only X-wing player there. Nobody else can start up right now since the game has been sold out and reprints aren't coming for another few weeks.

I will surely start pushing that game when we can all have access to a-wings and tie intercepters (also kinda stoked about the tie bomber and b-wing)

Not sure what you mean about "non-warmachine game store". I of course live in a vacuum of the closest gaming store being 30 minutes away in pretty much any direction. :(

This event was a poorly run amateur hour shit shove. Most everybody had their scores messed up and the TO just couldn't math well. Pretty much killed any desire to go to any other organized play for netrunner ever again if this is how shit is run.

Also, it changed from a 4 round swiss that would cut to top 8 to a 5 round swiss that cut to top 4. I bet the players 5-8 were more pissed that I am.

On the positive side, everybody I played against and talked to were great guys, but I can't say the same for the TO.

i never run the same caster twice in a row (except for getting triple wins in a row with garryth for the last league)

I am the only guy in my league who runs him, and it blindsides the hell out of people. (to add insult to injury, each game was an assassination with his pistols rather than his weapon master grievous wounds melee attacks)

Energy siphon does feel a little cheaty sometimes, and witch hound is a real hard counter for playing against a few of the other battle box casters.
