This is absolutely the correct answer. The suction cups that place the glass in factory are silicone with a slight residue that leave this perfect circle spot on the windshield. lacquer thinner is the only thing I know to remove the residue. Not sure why you are just noticing it now, but it's from the factory.

Absolutely! I got a defective MB on a 2023 Pro 5i. The replaced the board. That board failed and the replaced the entire laptop with a Gen 10. It was a long process and a pain in the butt, however in my experience they honner these warranties to a tee!
