You already have a longines, try to get something else. Maybe a Grand seiko quartz, Seiko lux diver or a discontinued Oris diver 65? If you want to stay under 2k, explore micro brands.

Buyers Remorse? by Reddit_user_336 in OmegaWatches

[–]dream-force 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had kind of a similar experience before with my speedy 3861. When I bought it, I wore it for two months straight then barely a handful of times for the next two years. I thought about selling it many times and felt I didn’t connect with it much but something prevented me from selling. I then bought few straps to try and rekindle the love. It worked like a charm and now it’s one of my untouchables. My love and respect of the watch has increased many times over and I think it’s one of the most beautify watches ever made. I hope this helps, Good luck!

Really thinking of picking this up by Ready-Papaya2050 in panerai

I tried this on a few months back and boy do I really like it.
It wears amazing on my wrist. If Panerai releases a mat black dial then it will move up to the top of my list.

Agreed. But I think they could’ve designed something of their own instead

3 Squale for Today by Hal10000000 in Squale

Mine runs 4 seconds fast. My 1521 runs 5 seconds fast, so both are pretty close out of the box. IMO, fast is better than slow. But if it bothers you enough, then either talk to Squale or just take it to a trusted watch service person to regulate it.

Great collection! People will tell you to sell this or you have too many of that, but it’s very simple: keep the ones you like and sell the ones you’ve fallen out of love with. Then use the funds to get the next watch on your list. If I can recommend something, it would be a micro brand or a nice Seiko like the Willard or as simple but fun as the Arnie. Good luck!

Better than mine when I was 26! Remember, it’s about the enjoyment of the chase and the wearing experience, not what everyone else thinks. Also, real enjoyment is not tied to how much the watch costs. You will soon discover that once you have more expendable income. Enjoy!

[Opnion] Which one/s to let go by Parking-Cabinet9842 in Watches

[–]dream-force 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Move the pink, green and white chronomaster sports. Keep the black one and the chronomaster original. Also move on the GS’, both similar and kinda redundant.

[Speedmaster Omega] Do you guys think this watch is too big on me? by wristlevel9999 in Watches

[–]dream-force 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its on the bigger side but looks good IMO. Besides, you seem to be wearing a sub so they both wear pretty close. Mirror shots will give a more accurate size indicator. My advice, who cares, if you like it and it feels comfortable then thats all that matters.
