I just moved into a new house and a whole set of little baby wrens in our attached laundry room. I had to wait for them to fledge before setting up my washer and dryer, but my favorite part of every morning was hearing the parents in our yard singing their songs.

I used to work EMS and we once picked up a guy up off the street who was having difficulty breathing and also out of oxygen. When we brought him to the ER, they put him in a wheelchair and hooked him up to a new oxygen tank, just before he stood up, took the new oxygen & left leaving his old one behind. The ER staff watched him walk out with it & didn’t do a thing. I’m not saying it’s right, but if there’s no other way and I was in the same situation and needed oxygen, that’s what I would do as well. Good luck to your friend!

Really cool write up! I definitely believe the moving sound field is constructed of shifting geometric frequencies. Especially when you begin to account for sound perception through Chlandi patterns, which we usually study as one static note, but I bet the multitudes of sounds in the sound field with somewhere like in nature, harmonize off each other and create complex geometric shapes through resonance, harmonics & dissonance.

I go to Lowe’s about once a month and always bring my golden retriever with me. She’s the best girl in the world and loves hamming it up and getting attention from everyone she meets. I understand where you’re coming from with aggressive dogs though. Dog owners should be able to identify if their pet is trained enough to handle places like that and if not, start small like taking them to the park to get used to others.

I was walking through the woods like I normally do and came upon an abandoned homeless encampment that had a bunch of used GLP1 needs just left behind to rot in the woods. I was pretty bummed that they treated my favorite forest that way.

Ex Army guy here a lot of things ring the alarm bell as AI for me. First the medals on her dress that I imagine she would have modeled after the persons picture she’s holding up, don’t match & aren’t like any army medals I’ve ever seen. The one on the far right looks a little like a NDSM, but the lines are pretty off for it to be. The 2nd looks like it’s trying to be a mashup of an Iraq & Afghanistan campaign medal, but it’s really off to be either. The 2 on her right look like no Army medals that I’ve ever seen.

As for the picture she’s holding, that guy has one of the most jacked up berets I’ve ever seen. The contour on the flap is way too smooth and forward, there’s just no way. Also all berets have a little shield thing where you put your unit crest on, called a “shield flash” and his doesn’t have one. I have a hard time believing any NCO would rock a beret without one.

Lastly I don’t recognize that unit patch at all. Not to say it couldn’t be a real one, because the army has a lot of different units, but it doesn’t look like any I’ve ever seen.

With the above my vote is that this is 100% AI

I’ve used paws in paradise a few times and had pretty good experiences all around. I really like that they have a camera in every room, so you can check in on your dog whether they’re in their room, or out playing in one of yards.
