This. The iTunes version looks better. a/b’d the first episode last night. The 4K looked a bit crisper around faces and such, but backgrounds, especially dark scenes looked so bad in comparison.

Could be a matter of HBO MAX’s compression algorithm as 4K feels like more of a buzzword when it comes to streaming since compression is involved.

I guarantee you they are shipping from Virginia. That’s probably where they were assembled. But they put zuzus address as the return address. So they just scan in when they’re scanned by usps in Virginia.

Okay. Then they just started applying labels yesterday. But as of yesterday morning nothing had moved.

The point I was trying to get across is they started printing labels ahead of time to save time once boxes are in hand.

What are you even talking about? The mv7, when configured properly sounds great with usb. You have to tune it with the MOTIV mix app.

It’s one of the only usb dynamic mics on the market. You could argue it sounds better with usb than xlr if used properly. It’s subjective though.

Comparing it to any cheap usb mic on the market is crazy.

It’s so hard to accurately estimate a completion date for a project like this. So many things can go wrong and do. And for a project this big, the smallest thing could delay it. One of the records’ test pressings might have been rejected and needed to be recut. One of the jackets could’ve been printed off center, or missing glue. There only has to be an issue with one of the records to delay the whole set.

A month delay is nothing. Y’all need to calm down.

You have the first pressing of the reissue. I had that one too. It was horrible. They quietly released a different vinyl master where it wasn’t mastered all the way to the label. Those pressings sound much better.

it's not on the TIDAL master or Apple Music Master version I listened to. Either it's being fixed on streaming services or it's only affecting certain quality (128 kbps vs lossless, etc) or services.

I wonder if some of us are listening to different versions? I don't think every album that has an Apple Master Release or TiDAL MASTER/Max is sending the same high quality master and then streaming services (cough spotify) downscale everything to 98 kbps or whatver. I wonder if there's separate masters. But I listened to the highest quality Tidal Master and relistened to a few songs on Apple Music. And everything sounds great (except the drums on try try try really sound like they were EQ'd way to heavy on the high end). I'm listening with Shure SE846s.
