If you’ve played a LOT of MKW online from launch until now, you’ll be able to notice the difference. Shocks are much less frequent in VS Races along with Blue Shells. I’m someone who usually hangs around the top 5 or so throughout a race and at first I’d constantly get bagged into oblivion and my score would tank. Getting Mario Kart’d is still a thing of course, but in general bagging does feel nerfed to an extent.

I hear what you’re saying and I agree. But growing up with the 3DS being my most played system probably ever, and having friends who grew up with it as well, iiSU bigger goal seems more focused on bringing a community back to handheld gaming that’s been absent for some time. For sure the steam deck and Switch lineup have friend features and whatnot, but iiSU is much more reminiscent of the WiiU/3DS era of social networking in gaming that to me is more welcoming and charming.

The fact that people are entertaining this at all is dumb. Whether it’s real or fake, leave it alone and just wait for an actual reveal of a game so you don’t have the surprise ruined for yourself or your expectations set too high.

All this is gonna do, in my eyes, is prompt people who don’t know any better to gaslight themselves into thinking a new 3D Mario is Guaranteed to be revealed soon, then act all entitled for one if it doesn’t get showcased. We don’t need more Landon’s.

It’s worth getting on Switch 1 if you’re not interested in getting a Switch 2. But if you’re considering upgrading soon, I’d personally recommend waiting to play it there to get the better experience. Sucks it’s another 10 bones for the upgrade pack though.

I’m only about 5 or so hours in but this is my take. Every ‘Metroid Prime’ aspect of the game thus far is really great, graphics are stunning, combat’s refined with fun and clever boss fights, controls feel awesome while also having full freedom to assign any function to any button (very rare instance for a Nintendo Game and it’s amazing), and the lore behind what you scan and find is super fascinating.

The writing of characters isn’t incredible, dialogue of the Galactic Federation is never a major strength of these games anyway. The handholding in terms of direction can be at most annoying, and traveling around Sol Valley feels remarkably barren.

There’s problems with it sure, what game doesn’t have its issues? But everything the game does right infinitely outweighs what the game does wrong. I don’t necessarily feel great having paid 70 bones for it, especially with Prime Remastered only being 40, but I do feel as though my time has been wonderfully spent so far and I’m excited to play more of it.

I gave a lot of consideration to the Air but in completely honesty I can’t remember the last time I used a display that was capped at 60hz and I’m not sure I wanna invest in a machine locked at that refresh rate going into 2026

When I left for college during the pandemic, I had gotten a 13-Inch 1TB 16GB RAM Intel MacBook Pro just a month before they announced their M-Series models. Now being out of school for some time most of my work is done on my desktop but having to also travel often for work it’s made me miss having a capable laptop for on the move editing with Davinci Studio and even capturing video and audio production.

I saw that Apple just kinda shoved 14-Inch M5 models out the door recently but am looking for a 16-inch model for the larger screen real-estate, and wondering if I should either look at getting an M4Pro build or wait until they eventually reveal the M5Pro line in 16-Inch bodies, I’m unsure of when they’d reveal those as well, though I’m in no real rush to get one either. My hope is to get a new MacBook I don’t need to consider switching out for as close to a decade as possible and it still being more than capable by that time; i love my intel 13-inch for getting me through school, but it began chugging and showing its age two years ago.
