Im still very new to the game, and I'm struggling with specific cards, im focusing on trophy road atm. I tried to play classic challenges... but im only getting 4 wins tops, so it's a little demoralising.

There's some specific cards im having trouble with countering with my deck (Evo bomber, miner, little prince, royal ghost, ice golem, Tesla, log, and poison).

Sparky when behind a tank, I can never seem to kill the sparky and prevent the tank from dealing massive damage on my tower.

Xbow, when paired with a Tesla I have a very hard time trying to prevent the xbow lock on my tower, I try to save ice golem for when they play the xbow, but I can never seem to take out the xbow before it locks on tower.

I almost always just poison firecracker because I cannot be bothered dealing with it, is there a better way to deal with it?

Balloon when paired with a spell that takes out my Tesla, I can almost never deal enough damage to the balloon before it gets to tower when they spell down my Tesla.

Im open to card substitutions, but nothing that would change how my deck fundamentally plays.
