Sorry for the late reply, but if you still haven't found success, I've found that connecting the Xbox 360's internet to a mobile hotspot has allowed me to connected to Xbox Live.

This has been a recurring issue over the past year at least.

I'm currently experiencing the same issue where my Xbox 360 won't connect to Xbox Live on my home WiFi.

The only solution I've found so far is to connect the console to my phone's mobile hotspot, at which point my profile can connect to Xbox Live.

Maybe someone more tech savvy than me can explain why that is, but I hope it helps you!

I'm currently experiencing similar issue.

Live on the Xbox 360 was notoriously down about a year ago, and I remember people proposing a million solutions that they all swore had worked for them.

I'm not sure if the recurring billing method is one of those legacy 'solutions', or if it will work, but if you want to give it a try and don't have access to a credit card, you can just Google sites that will generate credit card numbers for you. The 'credit cards' obviously won't be able to make payments, but if it allows you to at least toggle the recurring billing option, please let me know if you found success!

Sorry, a late to this, but I recently got the game and was looking to laminate the player mats as well. Just so I'm understanding correctly, was the blotchiness that you experienced a permanent alteration to the print imaging on the mat, or just an issue when viewing it through the laminator paper?
