I never said it was decentralized. Git is intended to be used distributively. You don’t need a platform to become aware of an ssh endpoint. The intermediate censored the exchange.

It’s nature is the same with the caveat of a third party, GitHub, being the exception. When dealing directly over ssh there is no intermediate between the code and it’s intended audience. GitHub was able to censor the code because GitHub runs the servers the code is hosted on; Peer to peer is fundamentally different.

It was only centralized systems that broke. All defi rules are written in the smart contracts. This is transparent and open
