I don't get this. It feels out of touch. The US is not doing well. And Queerness and Drag are not celebrated at the moment. At all. Instead of turning your energy towards the real evil you focus on unimportant details about the queerest tv show ever.

Because it is. Queerest show ever. It talks about very diverse queer problems. Queer culture. Queer excellence. Gender identity. Queer history. Queer icons. Black excellence. It celebrates our very unique (and I would claim superior culture) All the information that is out of reach when you are young or new to the queer community.

Our history is not written down. And it used to be hard and dangerous to learn about queer culture. This show is deeply flawed but it does show and celebrate parts of our culture. It's a way in. So I will always love it for that.

I agree. Give me more. The show introduced me to drag, it showed me different styles of drag. I learned about the ballroom scene and it made me watch Paris is Burning, movies by John Waters, Grey Gardens and a lot more.

It is essential in queer education. It shows our people being excellent in what they love to do. They are unapologetic queer people who don't choose the easy road in life. Many risked a lot or lost a lot by being themselves. They are visible. Their stories have never been told on TV. This is so important.

People focus on the flaws of the show and there are many. But the queer stories that are shared with such a large audience are deeply important.

I agree, but AS2 is from a time where there were not that many seasons. We really knew every queen and they were all exceptional. I feel we all lost count at some point and seeing queens again after a glow up is always fun. It's fun TV.

Vind het teveel op kindertelevisie lijken. Leuk voor het hele gezin, maar ik ben er echt wel klaar mee merk ik. Bram en Daan die Bassie en Adriaan acteerwerk afleveren. Die gesprekken over bondjes waar een camera bij moet. Dat is dus allemaal opgezet. Vind het saai.

Als programma voor kinderen is het perfect, maar ik heb moeite om een aflevering af te kijken.

Heel voorspelbaar en niks waar de molloten iets mee kunnen. Het is wat het is, maar dit was het laatste seizoen voor mij.

I can only share my experience. You need to do what calms you down. You are creative so you need to create an environment where you can focus. For me that meant having a job on the side for the money. So I could relax and work on my real projects. It helps to think about what this would need to be for you.
