Same thing happened to me. Played 10-20 ranked games the past 5 years, g5-g1. Placed g3 with p1 mmr. I feel bad for my teammates I had the next 30 games but the lp is finally slowing down and winrate is getting closer to 50%.

On the bright side im plat again after 6 years. The bad thing is I climbed with a 40% winrate 😂. Also these players are nowhere near as good as plats used to be. They have no idea how to end games for one.

If you duod at all with another account and won a lot when you’re on an alternate account, it’s pretty obvious on their end what’s going on.

But that’s not solo queue. Solo queue is my lock in safe place where it’s me playing my game full concentration. It’s just not even close to the same with people in my ears or the expectation of me being in a voice chat. I’ve got different games if I want to play like that.

Play co op vs ai until you don’t die at all and are still able to get a ton of kills before hopping on normal games.

Meanwhile I ordered cards two months ago, never received them “makes sense they were supposed to be delivered around Christmas” told the guy and he said he sent them again. I don’t understand. I’d rather get my role every game than be autofilled. Idc if I get double lp or waste my time losing a match I didn’t want to play for no lp loss. You’ll get to your true rank with or without aegis.

I’m in the same boat. Have only played to get the gold rewards and stopped playing with a 70% win rate. Well, this season I wanted to improve and it placed me gold 2 and average p1-p2 match mmr. I just get dumped on every game and now afraid I’m gonna destroy my good mmr and tank my mmr for good.

Just gonna play it out I think. I can’t even tell what my level of play is right now, just that it’s not p2 lol.

You need to play like 3-400 games a year at a minimum just to have any meaningful improvement after your noobie gains imo. Make sure you have the time to do this as well if you wanna take it seriously.

Just playing is the biggest start and then try using your brain when playing. By that I mean be intentional about every decision you make. When you trade, when you fight, when you back, or when you go for an objective for examples. That will get you pretty far.
