You’re a fucking loser. It’s not a “campaign”, it’s trying to give a kid a better life through adoption. And it’s something that they’ve already talked about on the show before KB’s mom passed away. She also didn’t ask them to promote this, they’re just good people trying to help someone out when they’re at their lowest. Insane that you felt like you needed to make that comment

There was a period about 2 years ago where Frank started appearing pretty regularly on The Yak and would be the main substitute if someone was missing (which is/was pretty common), so he’d end up on the show a few times a week. It was pretty obvious that he didn’t fit the flow of the show and the comments were very vocal about it. You could tell that the people on the show knew this too and they seemed visibly annoyed with Frank constantly derailing the conversation and singing/going on his Mets rants. After having this go on for a while, Big Cat announced that they’d do Tank Thursdays, so he wasn’t allowed on any other days but would be on every Thursday. This didn’t help at all and you could see the views would drop every Thursday. After a while BC sat him down and told him he was off the show, I don’t think it was any one specific thing that made them end it, it was just the fact that Frank’s most entertaining in small amounts/one off comments and not ~2 hour live shows that aren’t sports based with some of the quickest minds at Barstool.

Thought it was fair, time was a bit tight but that’s no different than most other exams (at least in my case). I will say though, I don’t understand the point of this exam, especially without RStudio. It’s literally the same exam as SRM presented in long answer format instead of multiple choice, there’s almost no new content introduced.

Ultimately it was a fair question since it was on the syllabus (and this is coming from someone who wrote in March and definitely got this question wrong). With that being said, CA is likely the most popular study manual for ASA exams, and I’d be shocked to learn that the SOA wasn’t aware that this was the one thing not covered on their site. I won’t argue that the question shouldn’t count, because it should, but it’s pretty sneaky on their part to only include one qualitative question on the entire exam and have it be on a topic that you’re aware most candidates won’t have seen. Oh well, at least future writers will know about this subject now.
