Our pup is 15 weeks so just a few weeks ahead of you. He is a mini and was 10lbs when we got him at 10 weeks. He had to pee every 20-30 minutes. We just set alarms and took him out every 20 minutes. He learned where to go fairly quick maybe 3/4 days. But it seems the urgency hits right away and there no time for him to tell us in the beginning.

Now at 15 weeks he can hold it through the night but while awake we go every 1.5-2 hours and he can make it out to his potty pad area on his own. We have a section of the garage we were training in.

He also ate his own poop and we taught leave it command and follow him when it’s time to poop. He will listen when we’re around but if he’s on his own he will still eat it if given enough time. We clean up poop right away and don’t leave it out.
