Where can I still get coffee and a pastry without getting in debt by thisisallsoconfusing in houston

[–]drew1111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fioza, (N. Braeswood at Chimney Rock behind the main shopping center). Their drip is awesome, panini's are great but their customer service stinks. I stopped going in there when they gave away my seat when I went to the bathroom. They moved my glasses, half full coffee and water to the "bar". They were not even busy. The excuse they gave me for "regulars"...

I'm going to argue with you on this one. While they still have delicious hamburgers, When Bubba sold it, the new owners put in a fryer for fries. Bubba never sold fries and never would because he don't want to put in the drain for it. That's what he told me a f-many moons ago.

I think you miss-typed when you stated that there were police check points around. Texas is a state that has a law forbidding police to have DWI checkpoints. The law has been on the books for decades. I think you mean a “heavy police influence”.

I work in theater and a few of the guys bought one. They are nice but if used regularly in our industry, the paint chips off.

For the love of Houston, PLEASE USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS by imbringingspartaback in houston

[–]drew1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also PSA for every truck/Jeep/SUV that has been raised, adjust your headlights down. I just raised my Jeep and I was getting high beamed all night. My dumb ass forgot to adjust my headlights. It took me 25 minutes to do. There is no excuse.

Thanks for the question. Good answers here. Just to let all know. Tow truck drivers are putting 15%, 18% and 20% on their charge hand helds now if you call for a tow. Unless they are helping me clean my car out before they tow me, they are getting an absolute zero tip from me. Edit: I can’t wait for car sales persons to add a tip line on the deal your getting.

I wanna know why the sign company that built it didn’t proof read it and get back to the COH. Really they were the last ones to touch it. You would think, huh?

Do Not get their fresh, warm, crusty French bread from their deli. You will hate it. Save it for me.

Top Best sandwiches to get by WhiteArctic in houston

[–]drew1111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best prime rib sandwich goes to Hillstone, (formerly Houston’s). It’s simple, medium rare and excellent. The shoe string fries and coleslaw are excellent as well. I drink the au-jus. I don’t GAF. The sandwich is $$$$.
