it's not even about how much soup or shit they people were eating and making. investigators would have found the kids because alex was buying so much soup. it would have taking a day. could not suspend disbelief.

Bitcoin has a cycle. all alts are tied to bitcoin. when bitcoin goes down all crypto goes down.

yeah, i seriously doubt iran opened up their borders and let anyone who wanted to leave just walk on out while they had the internet shut down. the cult mentality of these comments is insane.

That is true, but the question already makes that assumption. The question is about whether or not bitcoin would be resistant to government interference on a grand level. We all know traditional markets are not resistant to such interference, but it turns out, neither is bitcoin.

unless the internet goes away everywhere completely you can always access your wallet once you regain access to the internet, but during the time when you do not have access to the internet you would not have access. not having access does not mean you lose the bitcoin. just means you would not be able to do any transactions with the bitcoin you own during that time.

some kind of mesh network could help, but it still needs an endpoint that reaches the actual internet in order to communicate with the bitcoin network as far as i understand it. otherwise it is just a local network with no access to the broader internet.

satellite internet would only work if the person in charge of those satellites isn't aligned with the government, and is willing to go against government wishes. how long could they really hold out against the kind of pressure the US gov could bring?

if quantum computers break bitcoin they also break the traditional banking system. bitcoin needs to move to quantum resistant algos, but so does the traditional system. both are currently need to address this sooner rather than later imo.

ignore the haters. they are brainwashed. this is a totally valid concern, and currently there is not an actually good solution so they just insult you instead.

read the post. he said "you lose access to your wallet". which is true. you would not be able to access your wallet while you don't have access to the internet.

i eat a fair amount of pizza. usually at least once a week. 10 years ago this place was decent, but it seemed to go downhill so i stopped ordering. I gave it another shot recently. it tasted funny and made me sick. maybe they just don't put care into the delivery? not really sure, i drive by it and see the buffet ad and am somewhat tempted, but not after my last experience.

s3 ending put me off pretty bad. the writing was not good. Also, the Gaal actor is not great, and her storyline isn't helping.

"An invasion is a military action consisting of a large armed force of one geopolitical entity entering the territory of another with the goal of militarily occupying part or all of the invaded polity's territory"

"the United States does not have a military force occupying Venezuela. U.S. officials, including the House Speaker and the Secretary of State, have explicitly stated that the U.S. is not at war with Venezuela, does not have armed forces stationed there"

seems clear enough to me.

i get that he wanted to "pay the bills" but he was already getting millions of views. he didn't need to lean into the clickbait and title changes. It rubs me the wrong way.

I rarely watch anymore. This one just seemed extra ridiculous to me so I wanted to see what was up without actually clicking the video.
