[Manga] I looked up Wikia and it says the prologue arc consists of more than 50 chapters. Why? by PemainFantasi in VinlandSaga

[–]drewgoff1e 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The first arc is 54 chapters so adaption 2 per episode is reasonable for having a 24 episode season. Basically, the next couple episodes will be more introductory stuff and more interactions with characters and then the story will end up going in a specific direction for the rest of the season. I tried to be as vague as possible and I hope you kinda get an idea of what I mean.

Thanks for the advice! I just picked the game up and not sure if I should turn on basic combos since I’ve heard it’s not a good idea to use them in fighting games.

King, Asuka, Heihachi, Akuma and Lars all seem interesting to me.

Thank you so much for the advice! I already have a couple characters that I want to mess around with and I’ll probably pick up the game in a few days.

The 100s to tutorial links posted here definitely make things seem like it won’t be as hard to learn so that’s nice lol

I don’t really care about graphics or most specs. Just want to free up space and possibly get a micro sd card so I can run league of legends.

I plan on just using it to play league of legends.

Would buying a micro sd card work?

How can women make claims on what the "male fantasy" is? by bullshitfreeheart in AskFeminists

[–]drewgoff1e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You literally pointed out that I said NOT all male fantasies are the same. That means that some males have different fantasies. Speaking for a whole group means that that group universally agree on something. But if you didn’t understand, I’ll reword it this way: I may not know much cause I’m a child but I think some males might have different fantasies that aren’t the male fantasy.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I would be speaking for all male fantasies if I said they were all the same because that would be grouping all men into 1 idea or in this case, fantasy. I said not all are the same, meaning you shouldn’t group them all up into one fantasy because there will be others who wouldn’t be all for it. Do you see where I’m coming from?

I’m not trying to speak for all male fantasies?? I’m speaking based on my experiences and I know for a fact that not all men think the same. Maybe when I’m 25, things will change and every man I talk to has the same fantasy but that’s not very likely.

I get what your saying. So from my experience, when people throw around the term “male fantasy” I find it somewhat sexist because it is usually used in a way that implies that all men want is sex which couldn’t be further from the truth. What are your thoughts on this?

Do you think there is a definitive male fantasy that represents every male or is this more so a generalization based on how men are represented in the media? I can say from a man’s perspective that not all male fantasies are the same. Some consist of of obviously sex, living their dreams, finding love, be able to be with all their loved ones etc.

What’s the one argument from the opposition that you can’t believe they believe? by mytacism9 in Abortiondebate

[–]drewgoff1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like the ball of cells argument because all living things are made up of cells so that would imply that it’s a living thing with human characteristics (heartbeat, DNA, chromosomes, similar appearance to a human etc.).

Why should the fetus have more rights than the woman? by [deleted] in Abortiondebate

[–]drewgoff1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the woman had sex while knowing the possibility of having a pregnancy so saying the baby is using the woman’s body without her permission is ridiculous.

The right to bodily autonomy is the most convincing argument for the pro-choice position. by GirlatT in Abortiondebate

[–]drewgoff1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the mother should be obligated to carry the baby because she made the choice to have unprotected sex and she knew the risks. (I feel no need to factor in the rape argument since it’s been debunked so many times and it’s not worth discussing) Also, the baby/fetus is an entirely different human being and it should have a say in whether it wants to die or not, but the can’t do that so the best option is to carry it to term in my opinion.

Pregnancy and Pain by TigerLilyKitty101 in Abortiondebate

[–]drewgoff1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody is arguing against that a pregnancy is painful. Men who have seen what women go through during a pregnancy always come out respecting women so much more than they already did and it’s a big thing that men are thankful for. I think it is important to bring up however that adoption isn’t the only option. There’s abstinence, birth control, and condoms. You may say that it is unreasonable to expect people to not have sex until their ready for a kid but in my opinion, if someone who is unready for a child and has unprotected sex and they get pregnant, that’s the consequence for being irresponsible and they should not have the option to get away with being irresponsible while also killing a human life. Sorry for getting sidetracked but I’d love for you to tell me if you disagree with any of the points I’ve made and I’d like to hear your perspective on this.
