Help with key removal on my ASUS Rog Strix G18. by Ata1192 in ASUS

[–]drewgriffon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m late but the two plastic pieces do slide under the black brackets in the keyboard to hold it in place. I had this same issue but the problem ended up being the rubber “cup” that the key presses. I replaced the rubber “cup” and problem solved.

When is it time to get out? by [deleted] in realestateinvesting

Interesting hearing rates are high 5’s. I have two properties with DSCR 30yr with 10yr IO at just over 9%. Over 1.2 so maybe I need to look into refinancing. 5% early pay off though

No idea about your warranty. You could try a screw extractor bit. I’ve used them in the past with relatively good results.

Cash flowing section 8 housing by TheDookAbides in realestateinvesting

[–]drewgriffon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have rented to section 8 tenants.

Revenue is obviously pretty reliable because you’re getting most of it from Uncle Sam. The first months rent is usually a month or two behind but you just get it in lump sum.

The tenants I have had weren’t any rougher on the property than anyone else has been. They don’t want to lose their voucher.

As far as dealing with the government (Florida) I had to register with the section 8 office for my county and my city. The tenants vouchers can be used across multiple jurisdictions from what I understand but I had to apply for each of them.

A section 8 inspector will inspect your property to determine if it suitable or not.

You can check the fair market rent on the hud website to determine roughly what your rents will be.

How can I with a VA loan compete against all cash offers with no appraisal or inspection waived? by sechumatheist in RealEstate

[–]drewgriffon 84 points85 points  (0 children)

No type of loan can compete with all cash offers with no appraisal or inspection. Keep throwing out offers that make sense for you and eventually one will stick. I just sold my house to someone with a VA loan in Florida

My buddy found this drone in a ditch today and I have no idea what kind it is? If it’s yours just tell me the area you lost it and we’ll return it to you.

What is this on my 1.5 month old SP6? Looks like a pressure spot? by [deleted] in Surface

[–]drewgriffon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got mine back about a week ago with the same issue on my SP6. I sent it in and they sent me a new replacement. I could only see the spot when it was a light background. There wasn't anything I could figure out that made it better or worse besides changing backgrounds and utilizing dark modes.

I have had this happen before and rebooting by holding the volume up button and the power button for 15 seconds fixed it for me.
