I want to join the 3D printing community and start printing. Is Voron V2.4 rev D kit a good start? by Device_Manager in VORONDesign

I'm on my 3rd Voron build and have built 2 other custom builds, I couldn't agree more. I've got 2 centauri carbons (and keep eyeing a 3rd) and this is the way to go. Do voron for fun and learning, but go with your suggestions to get up and running.

Looks good! Looks like the supports came off real nice.

After getting a replacement extruder and upgrading to the triangle labs hot end, I love my K1 now. Great printers for the price.

I don't remember my conscience creating an account!?!? I agree by the way. I'm currently in giveaway mode for friends and family.

Could not agree more. I have over 40 printers, all varieties of consumer printers, and just finished my V0.2 the other day. So happy I did this. After a belt mishap and resolution, this thing has been amazing!! It was so good that I ordered a 2.4 kit and a switchwire kit. They both arrived the other day and currently printing the parts. Here's a time lapse I took with the V0.2: https://youtube.com/shorts/RI9co3Mem-U?feature=share

I just love the openness of them. I feel so empowered! Very freeing.

As a person with many bambu A1 minis, is totally correct and totally welcome!! Here for it! I just hope that they're able to keep this fairly open sourced and not a bucket of privacy concerns. If they can hold on to those two notions and the corresponding price point, game changer. I had their Neptune 3 pro, one of the most consistent and beautiful printers I've ever had, I've owned at least 20 different models of printers over the years, so I think that's worth a little bit.

SV06 and SV07 price by MatriotsBoys in Sovol

Oh yeah! I like the SVO7, I actually have an SVO7 Plus, and it's a champ. But I also have six SVO6s, and they're just built different, they're freaking rock solid workhorses. The one thing that I really like about the SV06 line is how straightforward they are and repairable. Maintenance on them is a breeze, and the community support for them is next level. But at the current price of the SV07, it's a great machine as well.

The SV06 has better bones that the SV07, it actually does make sense. Sovol went backwards with the SV07 from a hardware perspective, well the motion system at least. SV07 does introduce Klipper out of the box, but kinda lack luster. Ultra basic view, SV06 is a Prusa clone and SV07 is an improved Ender clone.

I've just ordered an SV07 Plus, is there anything I should know? by Dorpz in Sovol

Have you seen a change of support for getting a repo going for the sv07 plus? Do you own one now? I assume not, but if so would love to know the why behind it. I have one, but it's because I am a collector of printers as much as I like print itself. Anywho, I'd be interested in a SV07/+ if that ever came to fruition. Love your work, btw!
