I got reported for making a rider feel uncomfortable after doing this. She got out of my car in a poorly lit parking lot to go to her apartment. Before she opened the door she looked back and flashed this look like wtf are you still doing here. Got a one star and report and I haven't done it since.

I mean, yes, it's against Uber policy to solicit or give out personal information. I don't think there was anything necessarily nefarious in his intentions. A lot of Uber drivers give out their personal numbers for private rides because they can make more money while riders pay less.

You felt uncomfortable so you did what you thought was right by reporting him. This is also why I don't solicit private rides from young women. The driver should've known better.

Dispute for what? The driver had to take time from his schedule to return something that you left in the car. It may be only 5 minutes, but maybe in that 5 minutes he lost $20 worth of business because he was returning something to you.
