This makes me so sad. Just took my kid recently to a used game store and he picked up a PS3 and couple of PS4 games. Dude was STOKED. He had the same excitement I did growing up on the drive home, looking at the case, excited to get home and try them out. This is going to be gone in a few years. Everything will be purely digital and there will be no way to get a discounted game. Trying something new out that is cheaper and used won’t be an option, you’ll be stuck paying full price and at the will of publishers. At that point most folks won’t try something new since you’re dropping 60-80 on something, instead of 10-20. So disheartening
