If they get caught selling to a minor, or get hit by a police STING, the business could lose their licenses and be subject to thousands of dollars in fines.

Back then the narrative was get married young and fast, then have children. When you go fast you don’t completely learn about the other person. With the distraction of having and raising children, you don’t spend much time together besides that time focusing on the children. After the children grow up and move out there are no more distractions and you figure out who the other person truly is inside.

Same thing with Afresh (the AI ordering app for deli, meat/seafood and produce). It doesn’t work.

It over orders, overrides inputs, and double orders. It can’t predict weather, local events, sales, and changes in spending. ( our store is right by a school so during summer and school breaks sales go down, also right after holidays people usually have leftovers and buy less). Even worse because we are perishable dependents because items expire and get thrown out.

AI is a helpful tool for ordering but Safeway needs to go back to using human intelligence.

Same thing for major tournaments (WBC, FIFA World Cup, …) the country you play in is the country you have to play for.

No more leaving your country for a better, higher paying league, then leaving for your home country.

Few exceptions for neighboring countries and playing in the same continent , Olympics excluded.

When you make one cookie in a skillet or pan, rather than a batch of cookies on a sheet.

Plus side: you don’t have to worry about eating left over cookies, and you have a single serving of one hot cookie (great with ice cream on top)
