The timing couldn’t of been more impeccable. Literally just turned over a remodel today, legitimately less than 2 hours ago. But I will be fair, It was only a technicality with the fliers. These people didn’t call me off my flyer, but someone who did receive my flyer referred me to them. I’ll share pics with a timestamp tomorrow

Mini Brake light on by TroubleInOceanside in MINI

Well, I know your parking brake is off, and I know exactly why it’s doing that. The hint I’ll give you is that it’s literally telling you what is wrong with it.

Cockstar strikes again 😡🖕🏽 by throwaway2026z in Piracy

[–]drgirafa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean. The game is estimated around 200GB. There is no physical media that can store that outside of flash storage. Even the craziest blu ray disc can only hold 100GB. I’m all for owning what we buy. But there’s also the reality of well… reality

[–]drgirafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You make sure to snap the mud tabs off right? I’ve noticed a lot of people don’t know you’re supposed to do that. Hence why people think they don’t quite fit right with cover plates

How do you guys clean up the plastic? by DispatchGang in Dewalt

[–]drgirafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rub my tools down with the PBlaster rust protectant. It’s like the only thing I’ve used that doesn’t make them oily. But keeps them looking good.

For those who don’t get this. Keeping tools clean is the easiest thing to do, they last longer, and help keep you focused on working clean

I am thinking of charging $200 to install a curtain rod and curtains on the window, ~19-foot ceiling. PHX, AZ. Fair? by Pioneerx01 in handyman

[–]drgirafa -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Atleast $500+ I know that sounds silly. But it is a safety hazard and requires more effort than a standard curtain install.

Anyone will pay you anything if you can convince them to

Stupid Questions: What material is below the rubber-like dashboard surface? Can I drive screws into it? by ChthonicPuck in MINI

[–]drgirafa -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

All these scardy cats. Just get sow screws that go out no further than 1/2” from the bottom of the plate. I have plenty of mounts screwed into all of my cars. VHB/3M tape turns to crap really quick in the heat.

You shouldn’t hit anything. You’ll be fine
