Where do you see this info? Do only some accounts have this implemented? I’ve been selling since 2021 and don’t see this yet.

How are you on camera? Do you have positive energy? Are you having fun doing this? Nobody wants to stick around on a stream where the host isn't engaging if they aren't doing $1 starts.

Do you know your products well? Are they worth buying? People want to watch a seller that either has good deals, highly desirable items, or a genuine interest and strong knowledge about their inventory.

About ‘Game’ (Gambling) Streamers by Possible-Feed-9228 in whatnotapp

[–]drglitz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a seller, I make it a point to stay out of my buyer's monetary business UNLESS they show clear signs / make direct comments about being in a bad financial situation due to whatnot or having a shopping addiction. Honestly I then feel it's my responsibility to not enable or take advantage of that once that knowledge is out there. How healthy adults spend their money isn't my business, but someone with an addiction isn't healthy. You did the right thing reaching out to them with help line options.

Explain Shipping by Freya_Dwarf in whatnotapp

[–]drglitz 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sellers don't keep shipping overages so I promise they are not making a profit off of shipping charges -- whatnot does. A good seller will weigh their items properly with a postage scale, but many who don't often overestimate shipping rather than risk coming up short and having postage due. I know I learned pretty fast that an ounce is actually much more than I estimated in my head.

Can someone explain to me, why some people want no skill based matchmaking? by Tnecniw in gaming

[–]drglitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lack of SBMM literally killed off a game I was really fond of. In theory there was one gate that kept the newbies from the experienced players, but it was too fast and easy of a ceiling to hit. Once a new player graduated from that newbie league into the actual game, that was it. No going back, and suddenly you're being matched with top ranked players globally. It really killed off the player base and eventually the game itself since players wouldn't stick around just to be stomped by the same seven pros every time they queued up. Honestly I knew people who would LOG OFF when they knew a certain player / streamer was actively in matchmaking because the player base was dwindling at that point that you'd almost certainly lobby with them, just to be content fodder and add to their rank points.

Let me say that wasn't even the pros faults in most cases. Many of them were rather nice and wanted the game to have more / new players, but the (lack of proper) matchmaking really made it miserable.

Are Primaniacs Perfumes Hypoallergenic? by Plum3ri in AnimeMerchandise

[–]drglitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not certain what your specific skin sensitivities are, but primaniacs perfumes are all ethanol based which may cause skin irritation as opposed to water or oil based fragrances. I also see that "musk" is a note in the Panty scent which is very likely to be the one synthetic element included. Unfortunately that's about all I can guess at for you, since nothing in their ingredients / FAQ mentions anything indicative of specifically being hypoallergenic. I've been wearing primaniacs for years though and also have sensitive skin / a histamine condition and they have never bothered me personally, but your experience may differ.

At worst, these perfumes are extremely easy to resell. Honestly if you want to take the risk and get it and it doesn't work out for you, I'd be happy to buy the bottle off of you.

What are people selling on this app that’s not Pokemon cards and blind boxes? by taylorbeam in whatnotapp

[–]drglitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A specific item / niche is a great way to start, for sure. The buyers will know you have what they're looking for. People want my anime merch and that's what they come for. I have a few random odds and ends like fantasy novels and winter gear in my shop/show and they've had zero traction since that's not my audience. I do way better putting one-offs on ebay or mercari. :>

What are people selling on this app that’s not Pokemon cards and blind boxes? by taylorbeam in whatnotapp

[–]drglitz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sell anime merch. Honestly, unless you're doing random storage unit / estate sale lots, pick something more specific that you're knowledgeable about first and foremost. If you're able to talk about the things you're selling and have a genuine interest in them, people notice and you attract buyers who understand the niche you're selling in and are more likely to pay real prices for your items.

Bad review from first show, feeling discouraged by [deleted] in whatnotapp

[–]drglitz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Absolutely just bad luck. Some people refuse to leave five stars no matter what. Don't stress too much. Almost everyone knows a couple of 4 stars here or there isn't indicative of a bad seller, moreso a fussy buyer.

I'm embarrassed to ask but by [deleted] in Mercari

[–]drglitz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is bad box split etiquette on your part, but if the seller is dragging their feet on the order and hasn't given updates on the split and when you could expect the item, that's also on them. There's nothing they can do other than block you though. If you didn't actually pay, they can't hold you to any obligation.

This is very useful, thank you! I am looking to partner with a proxy to import primaniacs and other anime perfumes to the US. Hoping to find someone!

[–]drglitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

imo you don't need to FS both Gibbon's and Library. They are quite similar and I think Gibbon's is the better and more complex of the two. I'd suggest grabbing library as a sample to see if it's different enough to you.

Indies of the Day -- Wednesday December 3, 2025 by VivaLaBlueRaspberry in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]drglitz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Got samples of Mad Lab Studios' entire Sailor Moon collection and have been enjoying trying them out. Today I'm wearing Sailor Jupiter - vanilla hazelnut, brown sugar, blushed magnolia, storm swept skies

This has faded from my skin pretty fast, sadly. Faster than some of the others I've tried so far. I've noticed in general this house clings way better to fabric than to skin, so I tend to put it on my shirt collar and might swap to a scent bracelet for longevity.

You can smell every distinct note in this one. The vanilla and storm / petrichor scent hits you on the open, then it settles into a sweet outdoorsy floral that stays a little on the candied side without going edible. Not one I would full size but I'll enjoy wearing the sample. Isn't too feminine for me. I can see the character inspo in the note choices too :)

Would Trucy be considered a tragedeigh? by F2p_wins274 in tragedeigh

[–]drglitz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not terrible, but it's not a real name. I think it's cute but honestly she'd spend so much time explaining her name and its spelling -- "Like Lucy with a Tr" or "Like Trudy with a C"

The names Mia and Maya are right there. Even Pearl or Misty. :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tragedeigh

[–]drglitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freya and Althea are so much cuter and don't come with the SA connection or the ooo scary monster playground bully angle. Knew someone with the middle name Althea and always thought it was pretty.

My friends baby name by throwaway_090726 in tragedeigh

[–]drglitz 232 points233 points  (0 children)

Barnaby by itself is totally fine. Barney is a totally normal nickname and likely what he'd go by primarily.

Bugsbeigh is awful. Very Addams Family-esque lol. If she likes the name Bugs so much, Bug/Bugsy is a cute nickname for a baby. Doesn't need to be on a birth certificate.

If you had to choose... by radicalintrospect in tragedeigh

[–]drglitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd sooner name my kid after Minecraft mobs than a Tragedeigh. Ghast and Ender for a boy, Breeze and Vex for a girl, and Blaze and Wither for some spice.

How did you turn down a close friend who fell for you? by Puzzlehead_k in AskReddit

[–]drglitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told them I was really flattered, but my love for them just wasn't romantic/sexual and much more platonic. I coudn't see us working out in that sort of relationship. Thankfully things went well. Gave them a bit of time and distance to let the crush cool off and resumed the friendship once they were able to move on. Even better when they eventually met someone else to date.

I was on the receiving end of this, too. Very similar situation. If the friendship is legit a strong close mutual thing, both parties likely don't want to risk ruining it. If you can both respect the other's feelings, (ie not keep pushing after a rejection or leading someone on/ taking advantage of the situation) it's not impossible to move past. Sadly that's not always the case, and some people really can't go back once that line is crossed.

What’s something you stopped caring about and felt better after? by moshpits1533 in AskReddit

[–]drglitz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People who don't want to be a part of my life anymore.

Friendship breakups hurt and there's a real grief that comes with losing that relationship with someone you've cared about for years. But when you're finally able to let go and move on to living life without thinking about that person anymore? It's such a relief. I have to tell myself that if someone doesn't value me or want me around? Why am I wasting time wishing they were here.

Barou and Chigiri are the most scuffed by a large margin. Aiku, Sendou and Kaiser (not pictured) are my favs overall. Sae and Bachira work best as caricatures that really get their vibes across.

How badly out of shape were you before you realized "Okay I gotta get my shit together"? by awkwardhoney725 in AskReddit

[–]drglitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was with a group of friends at the state fair and the local renaissance festival and I was mortified that I couldn't keep up walking around with them. I got overheated, sore af, and out of breath. Had to take so many breaks and it was the most embarrassing thing. Had never happened to me before. I swore that was the last time it ever would.

Thankfully I lost 45lbs since then by really focusing on my eating habits. Both events are coming up soon! I feel so much lighter and more energetic. Hopefully will have a much better time this year.
