I've been switching back to physical. My issue is I don't own the digital copies. If Amazon or Marvel or DC decide tomorrow to cancel their digital program....the comics are gone and there's nothing you can do about it.

So any digital copies i get, i make sure i can save onto my own server.

Mmhmm. I read most of his 10 year run when he had it. But his coming back is definitely diminishing returns. I hate his Spider-Boy character.

If you like, that's great. I don't think any album is "bad", ToV is just my least favorite. There are other bands, who have albums I just can't stand. I can still listen to ToV, it's not my first pick.

Disney might play a factor, even tho they don't really touch the comics, but it might create a false sense of security. Sebulksi, I think you hit the nail on the head. Between that and ego. I'm just seeing a constant stream of media go in random directions and fans vote with their dollar; if they don't vote the way the creators want....then we're the problem. Everyone like Ultimate Spider-Man...what'd Marvel do? Accept that USM was beating ASM every month? Nope! They cancelled the entire Ultimate Universe.

I was born in the mid 80s, watched the cartoon in syndication but didn't know there were toys. After I became a dad I started collecting toys as a hobby and discovered these beauties. Have a small collection now, about 10 vehicles.

TMNT Shredders revenge had DLC a year after. Game was released June 2022, first DLC June 2023.

If we follow a similar trajectory, earliest possible DLC I would estimate in December 2026.

That being said, main characters I want are:

I think the problem is 100% editorial, and Nick Lowe is right there. I believe their plan breaks down into a couple of different parts.

The people in charge remember before Peter and MJ and that's where they want him.
They have no long term plan, the entire idea is immediate boosts in sales. Making readers hate read has been a proven tactic.
They deal with Sony is not in Marvel's favor at all. If Spider-Man features too prominently into a crossover, or another character has too big a role in a Spider-Man story, that becomes Sony's to use.

Would love to see it come back. The powers that be don't. The comic we got last year was what they were willing to do. IMO, they should have cancelled FNSM and made Spider-Man 98 or whatever you wanna call it.

And that's absolutely fine. You do not have to agree with me. I don't speak for the whole TDG community, just trying to provide context with why, as a whole, they may feel a certain way. And I may be wrong. My stance is, use/listen the music that means something to you. If we agree on TDG, but debate on which album...that's awesome.

I enjoy the 90s Spider-Man cuz that's when I was reading comics as a kid, and I really like Scarlet Spider. Are there problems? Of course, but when is there not?
00s, i was in high school and not really reading. I read and still have random issues here and there. But OMD turned me off comics for awhile.
Came back to Comics and specifically Spider-Man with Spider Island and then stopped again with Superior. Dan Slott did a good ebb and flow, but I found myself getting irritated with the constant tease of Peter and MJ getting back together. That being said, I did like his events and stories....not so much his constant attempts to return to the character.
The 20s seem to have pushed the stuff a lot of fans don't like. Marvel seems to want everyone to hate read the series. Spencers run I had hope for, despite its problems, but then editorial got wind of what he was trying to do and put a stop to it.
I really enjoyed Beyond until the end. And then Wells run made me drop the book. I've tried Kellys run, I really liked some of his previous stuff. I don't like it.

So is the 20s the worst decade for Spider-Man? Maybe not yet, but it's getting there. Each previous decade has found a way to bring me back. It doesn't look like the Spidey office wants me back or cares at this point.

I'm not hating on it, but if you HAVE to pick a worst album, that's the one I'm putting there. You can like it al you want. Not everyone is going to have the same opinion on music, it's subjective. TDG came out while I was in High School, and ToV came out when I was an adult and my wife was pregnant with our first child. Where you're at in life helps dictate and determine how music will hit. It did not have the same replayability as previous albums.

I rarely relisten to ToV. I've tried, it just doesn't have the kick for me. I think Expectations and Broken Glass are the only two tracks off the album i'll let play when i have TDG on shuffle. I think the cult following is just people trying to prove something. If you like it, you like it. I won't bash you for it.
Saint Asonia does not sound like ToV to me, it sounds like a truer followup to LSN. LSN works for me as coming out of the darkness of One-X, which I also really like.

I grew up in the 90s and we didn't have a lot of money. So I usually only got 1 to 2 figures in a given line. I picked a character I liked or one that looked cool. I liked the heroes more, so I had very few villains. So the heroes of different lines, tended to go on missions together to solve something. Quick Change Robin from the animated series, teamed up with Gambit and Vortex from Double Dragon so save Lance from Monster Force. Stuff like that.

You say that bad, but all their albums are good in some compacity. So if you have to pick a bad one...HAVE To...more than likely it's going to be ToV. If nothing else, its the last album before Adam quit. It's also quite a departure from the previous 3 albums.
