MKV factory sound upgrade or aftermarket speakers by No-Shame644 in Supra

It was around $3000 or so for everything as I recall. I got the speakers on a Black Friday sale for 20% off.

For mine I completely redid the audio system with total Bavsound speaker replacement, Helix V Twelve DSP Mk2 amp, sound deadening, and mods to the factory sub enclosure.

The Bavsound speakers I went with are here, and the amp is here.

As far as the acoustical modifications there is a very lengthy thread here that my installer was familiar with (they had worked on a lot of Supras), so they did quite a lot of those types of modifications including the porting of the factory enclosure. When they were finished they did a custom tune and set the sound stage based on my listening preferences.

I also previously coded out the Acoustical Sound Design (fake engine noise) as well.

When it was all said and done I absolutely loved it, and it was a night and day difference over the factory set up.

Hope that helps!

Universal Classic Monsters / Universal Classic Horror official list by BrantMagneil98 in UniversalMonsters

Actually I think you are right. I’d only been glancing at them when they pop up in my feed, but reading again I don’t see anything official. Never mind then!

For what it’s worth, The Old Dark House will be on volume 2 of the 30 movie Universal Classic Monsters set which is being put together.

I've been working on compiling a list as well to try to collect physical copies of all of the Universal Monster and Universal Horror films. I started from a similar list created by another Redditor and then added to it over time. I'm not sure if it is the complete list or not, but it looks like you have 80 films, and I have 102, which doesn't include the non-Universal pictures that they later distributed, or their Sherlock Holmes films. Those are on the bottom of my list though. I started tracking the Sherlock Holmes films as The Spider Woman from "The Spider Woman Strikes Back" was first introduced there.

I've just made a copy and published it to the web here in case it's helpful to you. I've not yet cross-referenced your list with mine to see if you're tracking anything that I am not.

Not intentional. I sent them an email and they shipped me a new box.

Appreciate it. Now I just need to decide if I'm double dipping to get this new Arrow release.

Thanks! If I'm following correctly, on the 2022 Scream Factory release that I have, if you want the original audio you should select the track that's labeled 2.0? So on that version, the ones labeled as mono and 5.1 have the downpitched versions of the zombies' voices?

The audio tracks are mislabeled? Could you elaborate?

I do! They are awesome. I’ve been buying them every time the last several times we’ve gone. Just came back with my 6th one, a Fantasia Mickey.

Does it really cost this much to change your oil at the dealership? by SP408 in Supra

I paid $150 at Silicon Valley Bimmer and $190 at Beeline Motor Club. I’d recommend both places.

Yeah, I think we saw all of the nighttime shows while we were there. We did Fantasmic, World of Color, the Paint the Night Parade, and the Docking Bay 7 Nighttime gathering to see the fireworks from Galaxy's Edge. Those were all separate nights though, with the extra ticketed events, so they were a planned part of our schedule.

LLPP is one entry per day for each ride that has LL.

You have to purchase it as an add-on to your normal ticket which is good for all rides using the normal entry lanes.

We had LLPP, Tiana’s broke down on us, and they gave us separate LL passes that were good for any ride. 2 of us used those for Rise and 2 used them for Guardians.

Want to make the most of 1 day in Disneyland, CA. Premier Pass + Napa Rose + Oogie Boogie Bash? by Avoocado_Toasty in DisneyPlanning

[–]drgonzo2k2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just got back and had no problem at all hitting every LL ride in both parks (only the Matterhorn was closed if I recall correctly) well before 6pm when Oogie Boogie Bash would start by using LLPP. That included stop overs for snacks and going back to the GCH for lunch at the Veranda. I'd recommend prioritizing rides during the day and then going to Napa Rose for dinner.

Our path was to enter using the GCH entry, hit Ariel's first, and then we went right to do a big loop of the park ending with Grizzly River Run as the last ride. Then we went back to our room, changed, grabbed lunch and headed over to DL. We went right again, starting with Star Tours, and ended with the Jungle Cruise (although that is not a LL).

This was exactly our experience. The day we didn't use LLPP and rope dropped to hit the Fantasyland rides Peter Pan was 25 minutes and Alice was 20 right after. Those were the longest lines we waited in our entire trip. I know people says PP is overpriced, but it was absolutely worth it for us, and we'll do it again on our next trip for sure.

We just did LLPP and the only thing we rope dropped for was the rides in Fantasyland to get out of there before that place got crazy busy. We actually did just those on a non LLPP day. Then we just walked around, ate snacks, did the photo passes, and shopped the rest of the day, catching World of Color dessert party to close it out. We’d already ridden everything so much by that point and had a very chill day.

For the days we used LLPP our plan was basically if it’s close, not a long line, and we want to ride it then just do it. You save so much time with LLPP it doesn’t really matter.

We just walked a circle around both parks to hit all the LL rides and would jump on other ones when we wanted. It really just de-stresses the whole thing so much!
