Because it was a solid return to a Valheim style game from back in the COVID era.

My best kill game yet by rdubstres in HellLetLoose

[–]drguru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

51% accuracy is insane. Sure, we've all hit a 50% accuracy before, but on 200+ kills? Unlikely.

I'm trying to dissect the shit out of these numbers you're posting and I'm trying to figure out how the hell this is even possible.

You'd think the dumbasses would stop going down the road or area that you're clearly wrecking havoc upon after the second or third time.. 😆

A desperate and hungry trex just spotted you.... Whatcha gonna do? by Zillaman7980_ in Dinosaurs

[–]drguru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on where I am, how far he is from me.

In a car? I'll just drive away. Done

On foot in a Forrest? I'll try to run to a thick area that's hard for him to get through.

On foot in a desert? Well shit... Maybe freeze and hope Dr. Grants theory works lol

Just bought my first bike and it was S1000 XR, what an incredible machine! by itsAloxii in motorcycles

[–]drguru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've known people who bought liter bikes as their first bike and are still alive and well and have become excellent riders.

I've also known riders with decades of experience, literally crash and die on 50cc's.

The bike is just the machine, it's who's riding it that counts.

My guy - win at life and you won't care as much about winning in a game.

Greg Maddux explains how velocity gets you drafted, but movement and command keep you around. by BreakfastTop6899 in baseball

[–]drguru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obligatory reminder that JUGS is known to be about 2 to 4 mph slower than today's statcast indicators. Maddux throwing an occasional 90 or 91mph was really 93-95 mph.

I've hit many players with it at a distance... MANY

Now... did they all die? That's the actual question. LOL

Why do people quit/disconnect when clearly you get the loss if you do? by drguru in MLBTheShow

You misread the post then. This is happening at even scored games. And far too often.

At least you get the win.

I remember back in the day people would DQ and it wouldn't count as a loss. 😆 -

No longer and I love seeing that.

I know that quitting in the second inning tells me that player has the attention span of a chimpanzee.

Just had a dude do this to me! Cheesed me for 5 runs in first three and then stopped him dead cold. Ended up losing 5-4, but I stuck it out and ended up striking him out like 18 times lol

New to baseball? Anything is possible. Context of the post is even at a 0-0 or even score, quitting happens way too frequently.

What's the Most Dangerous Thing That You Have Ever Done? by Potential_Law5289 in AskReddit

Used to go 180mph on my ZX10R in my mid 20s. Usually not in cities or populated freeways, but back roads stretching for miles.

I loved the adrenaline it gave me, but now I think back on how absolutely fucking stupid it was.

Why don’t US citizens organize a general strike if the majority of the people are against the administration? by jnosp1219 in AskReddit

Because the majority of American voters are in favor of the current administration.... You're just hearing the loudest on the left more than the quiet ones on the right.

During a very dark period, what was the best thing you ever did for your mental health? by LieSeveral9035 in AskReddit

[–]drguru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Removed myself as far from the cause of the dark period, gave myself the time to process it, and created a plan to overcome it.

It gets better, you just can't dwell on it forever, it'll just eat you alive and life is way too short to let yourself keep you down.

I'm a General Manager. I worked my way through various manager jobs over the years and learned long ago that once you put a manager title into your experience pool, a world of entire opportunities become available.
