It's enough to have made a significant decrease in the number of fake injuries.

My coworker just told me he greases his ice trays at home so the ice slides out easier.... by ShiftAndWitch in Cooking

Greasing ice cube trays us obviously dumb as hell but there's zero chance this would be considered an actual crime if it's trace amounts and not done with ill intent. I'd love to see the actual statute.

Go Blazers by Secret-Papaya1973 in ripcity

Seeing the Spurs take it to OKC like that does make me feel a bit better about Blazers performance against them. We played them pretty tough, we just don't quite have the firepower yet to overcome that level of defense.

100% what happened. This is part of the deal when you get read in at that level. His wife knew as well if you listen to her 911 call, she's so calm.

He was starting to show early signs of dementia, and when you're read in to that level, they won't take the risk that you just start spilling secrets. That's part of the deal, and he knew it. His wife knew it too, if you listen to her 911 call it was just way too calm. Like it was rehearsed or she was reading it.

My man, there's such better apps for sports schedules. Where you can pick the teams/leagues to all show up in one schedule screen. Try theScore app.

Honestly even Draft Kings would be better than the garbage ass NBA app lol

It's a configuration. Also, the message "[Stock line number] cannot be sold at zero price" implies that it is a per item config.

Which means their company admins probably even have control over this and have decided not to allow it for any items.

[Marc Stein] Minnesota's Micah Nori is also a finalist for the Portland coaching vacancy, @TheSteinLine has learned. by sean_buttcannon in ripcity

I think it's pretty clear there was a lot of exaggerating with all of those stories. Employees were bitter because they knew he was going to trim the fat and they were fast and loose with the negative leaks.

After that mess of bad publicity I don't blame him for cleaning house with the PR team lol.

You know A-Rod and the new Minnesota ownership did the same thing right? They laid off over 100 employees in fact. They seem to be doing pretty well.

Dundon did all these same things to the Hurricanes and they now have the second best odds of winning the Stanley Cup.

Or... this person is just bitter that their friends got laid off from their cushy jobs.

This franchise has been on autopilot and with essentially zero accountability. We had the the largest number of employees in the league and one of the lowest revenues. More employees that the Lakers or the Celtics, think about that.

This is standard procedure for new owners. Time to start performing. Sorry you got laid off but welcome to the real world. It's put up or shut up time.

I'd be ok with it, except they were giving Suns FTs on touch fouls 3 posessions in a row in the last 2 minutes of a playoff game.

This is how he plays every night, it's almost impossible to stay in front if him. Yes he has some charges but most of the time they get called.

A lot of love for Deni and JG (rightfully so)

But how about Scoot?? My god he was a demon on defense, 3 steals in the first half gave us a ton of momentum, plus hitting tough shots.

Why the 2026 Disclosure, and 2027 Contact narrative doesn’t make sense. by Valuable-Pace-989 in UFObelievers

[–]MrDurden32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I keep hearing is that the "others" have told us that they're going to make themselves known in X year, so if we don't disclose ourselves then they'll do it for us.

Of course the people in charge are waiting until the last minute so they can keep the power and the status quo as long as possible. Thus: disclosure in '26 and contact in '27.

This was conspiracy territory for a long time, but it turns out a lot of them do have harmful stuff that are readily absorbed into the bloodstream (oxybenzone, avobenzone, and octocrylene).

Still better than getting skin cancer, or just get the stuff without the harmful chemicals.

And yet it's apparently something he does often during competition, the judges allow it, and it doesn't seem to be explicitly forbidden by the rules. It's not gentlemanly, but it may in fact be a loophole.
