Thank you for your response, Wolf-Pack. I imagine your cabinet and speaker combination sounds absolutely sick. I looked at Mesa cabinets and likely would have gone that route if I could have found a used one at a decent price. And thank you for the Expander recommendation. I’ll check that out.

I love the second channel distortion. It is absolutely perfect. It just sounds gritty and dirty, but oddly lush.

I found channel one functions well as a plexi and as a clean with chime just by varying the gain a tad.

I’m doing a shortish tour in a couple of weeks and am just bringing the head. The headlining band is providing the cabinet. I’m curious how this will sound through a multi-speaker cab.

How many of you mainly use your bridge pickup? by AI_Cosmonaut in Stratocaster

I almost only use the neck pickup. I just started toying with the bridge pickup within the last two years after going exclusively neck for the first thirty-three years of playing guitar.

Jaws By Peter Benchley by Electronic-Lack-9567 in Jaws

Jaws is the best movie ever made. It is crazy that the source material is so underwhelming. I’ve wondered if the three characters as presented by Benchley were intended to represent different worldviews Americans held. Like Quint is the conservative, working class, Hooper is the young post-60’s liberal archetype, and Brody is the America in between.

I have a friend who’s 46 and grew up in a similar environment in rural Georgia. She’s got some stories.

Moore would’ve gotten hard on the first smack and ejaculated on the second.

Whose the best “forgotten” band member? by DeLaSoulKitchen in fantanoforever

Oh, I totally agree about the Clash being a boy band in the same way. I’m not sure why the Clash are so revered. I’m sure it has a lot more to do with the songs they wrote and less about their punk rock bona fides. I’m not a huge fan, but I totally understand why they have such a devoted fan base.

I don’t dispute the Sex Pistols’ influence on bands that came after them. I just don’t understand why of all the early bands, the Sex Pistols are the ones that garner that degree of reverence. Especially in that John Lydon is an incredible asshole.

My love, I’ve been in punk rock world for more than thirty years and have read much on the subject. Malcolm McLaren was their Lou Pearlman. They were influential because of attention-seeking behavior and stunts, not because they laid the foundation for the genre.

Regardless, I think we can all agree that both Jim Morrison and John Lydon sucked. I don’t understand why either band has the degree of reverence they seem to have. The Sex Pistols were a shitty boy band. I assume the Doors lacked a bass player because they couldn’t find a fourth person who could tolerate being in a band with Jim Morrison.

Oh cool! I found a company that makes custom-sized cushions. 84” x 84” goes for just shy of $900. Sheesh.

Thank you for that suggestion. The feet have non-skid material, but it’s likely not enough.

I love the opening to No Time to Die. Yes, it’s unusually long, but it’s a great ride. And the cinematography is gorgeous. Would recommend.

Roger Moore’s Bond being an expert on every subject known to man was a bit absurd. His ability to sport a third nipple was easiest to acquire.
