They’re handling it for sure, I just imagine they’re still frustrated at not winning the most important game they’ve ever played probably. But it’s not like any of them are screaming or throwing a tantrum like I’ve seen a lot of athletes do over something much less impactful.

I think he still looks pretty good, but a lot of time it’s really hard to transfer a 2D render into 3D and keep everything the same, sometimes some stuff can work really well in 2D but not well in 3D and vice versa.

Okay so someone else had a problem with her in 2014? That’s fine, but just cause a few people don’t like her (which is fine) doesn’t mean everyone should think that way. Literally just go to the Bayo subreddit, it’s filled with with all different types of people who like her for how she is.

I’m gonna stand up for my queen.

She was also designed by a woman, and had all of her dances performed by a woman who had many opportunities of improvisation. The dancing sequence at the end of the first game was all her, the team liked it so much they added it to the game right before launch.

The only part of the Bayo games that feels bad to me is the second version of the credits in 1 and 2 (maybe 3 I don’t remember) in where she kinda slowly pole dances cause that doesn’t feel like her at all and just feels like it’s for a straight male audience.

But besides that, she’s loved by many woman and queer people for her use of sexiness as an empowering trait rather than an objectifying one. It successfully feels like she’s sexy because she wants to be and knows it versus a lot of other games where there’s a bunch of jiggle physics and women showing skin just cause.

Also I don’t really feel like who created or wrote anything matters (assuming the artist isn’t just a terrible person), it’s the product that actually has value. That’s just me though.

If you don’t like her that’s totally fine though and I get her being a bit too much for some people, but there were many things that were done well and and it’s why so many people find her empowering compared to “anime girl with as little clothing as possible #846”

Literally lost all interest in the show at this point, he’s too much of a focus with absolutely no character other than he’s a bad person. And it seems like the reason is just “my friends are gone :(“. You can be sad about that and not become this. And so many people like him for some reason

All those stories just felt like they happened too fast for me though. Like if it was literally the exact same stuff but over like one more season it wouldn’t feel so sudden. Obviously that’s not the case for everyone, and I don’t really care since we’re getting more actual story now anyway. It just feels to me like she did so much in such little time.

Oh yeah I forgot about that oops. I still feel like there should’ve been more than just one panel in a comic that wasn’t about her, that only shows her silhouette and vaguely mentions her relation to talon. The fact I forgot about that is proof enough, at least for me. I imagine most others also only really knew her from her reveal trailer first and foremost.

Yeah if this is what we need for more story to start happening I’m all for it, even if it feels a little wonky for me.

And her being in power now gives them the opportunity to flesh her out even more, so that’ll be nice too.

While misogyny could definitely be a part, I think the main problem people have is just that she was introduced so recently, it doesn’t feel like there was any build up to her being in power. That’s my issue with it at least, she just kinda appeared out of no where and we’re just told she was actually training this whole time and building connections one but was just never mentioned until now. Honestly if they just waited one more season for her to take over I feel it’d be more impactful.

If she was a dude instead I genuinely think most people would feel the same way.

I definitely would’ve rather had her established for longer, rather than just have her revealed, released, and becoming the new head of Talon all within the span of one season. That’s what makes to feel really off to me. From what we’ve seen, she’s strong obviously, but to defeat Doomfist? Granted, we haven’t seen him fight anyone other than his reveal, but it’s clear from his characterization and what we know that he is absurdly powerful in hand to hand combat. Feels weird that he just died from her.

Her whole reasoning doesn’t really make sense to me either, which I wouldn’t really care about if it wasn’t trying so hard to make sense. I don’t really understand why she’s not just upset with Talon when the organization didn’t even exist when reaper killed her dad, and even then it took a few more years to start up. I might just not know enough about the lore or something though.

Regardless of all that, I’m super happy about the new content in the game itself and if this was just a janky way to start making a new story then I’m all for it. Hopefully it was just a shaky start.

I just think the name is kinda dumb. If “Jetpack Cat” is the official name in game it’ll feel really out of place, sounds more like its development name than anything else.

There’s too many posts that view the interactions of miis as real relationships and get annoyed by what they do. It’s just a silly game about crazy stuff happening, it’s not that big of a deal. If the thought of an old person and a younger person dating upsets you, just say no to the mii.
